Every time I watch them play this game I hear the same thing "saving this for automation", "lets wait till we can fully automate that" etc ... they put so much effort building to a future that they never get too
I think part of the viscious loop here is each restaurant takes a while to get running and you always get to a point where you stop and have to come back. Then you come back rusty. But by the time the inevitable happens you will only have enough time to get back to the half way point again.

You mentioned decked out at the beginning and I just wanted to say that as someone who loves problem solving, I would literally sit and watch hours of you explaining what you found and how you fixed it! Or if that doesn’t make for good content, I’d still appreciate a quick rundown of what you found :) Thanks! Also, you did great with the restaurants! Loosing is part of the learning process, next time you guys will be more prepared!
Tango, please don't try to take the blame for losing cakes - it was absolutely BOTH of your faults 😂 - you couldn't serve because fighting fire - cooking stopped because fighting fire - messes were awful - lack of table purchases in previous rounds It all adds up! The dam is fine until the water reaches the top, then it's all over 😢
One little fire lead to both of you in total panic mode, ignoring all the customers needs and losing that franchise! 😥 Even without all the lost time due to firefighting, the sheer number of people waiting outside and the super slow motion from the huge mess behind the counter may have ended that run anyhow. A painful loss but you got to that stage in record time. Each and every time you get a little bit further and get there a little bit faster. It's incremental progress but it's still progress! Loving this series and I hope it continues for a long time to come! 😎
Yeah, the cake failure was mostly from the lack of countermeasures for mess. You don't think it is that bad early on, but once it strikes, it ends everything. That's why most people value the Formal decorations so much; the first effect and the third one both address the issue. Decoration rounds are what save the run, if done/chosen correctly, though the other choices help different playstyles/needs. P.S. Mops and Swift Mops are far more valuable than you think; all you have to do is pick it up during the round, walk over all the messy areas, and return the mop to clean everywhere you walked (also, they are very cheap to buy).
Love watching you two. I know you love this game due to the automation, but I feel you need to focus more on things that are run killers rather then automation first. You touched on it when you lost your run. Things like tables, mess is far more important then automation. Spending 100-200 coins early to prevent mess means you're more likley to get to late game to do automation.
Tango, you can leave some dirty plates somewhere else in urgent times. In this run you could just leave boards on the top, so you can flip tables faster.
The endless debate of whether to get copy or discount first is goofy cause the real answer is the blueprint desk! 1. It's 60 coins so it's much easier to get early on 2. You're no longer at the whim of the rolls and can hunt down that next research desk etc
Not sure if chat has said it already or if you know this. However, because the calling of new customers actually skips the time forward each time, when you called during the fire it made the fire spread way faster than it normally would have. (If you look back you can see that with every call the fire spread once.) So calling in a situation like that will not only make it harder in the way that you get more customers, but because of the extra fires you will also lose even more time with trying to put the fires out! I didn't know this worked like that until I saw it happen here and tested it out myself so don't feel bad for having done that. I have made worse mistakes playing plate-up. ;) I am addicted to watching these streams so please keep them coming!
Poor Skizz didn’t realize he had to open the microwave before it would stop spreading new fire. But the mess seemed to cause the bigger problem somehow! Maybe not ringing the bell in the first round with new equipment would have made a slight buffer, but that mess omg. PEOPLE ARE PIGS!! OMG IT WAS ROUND 15 NOOOOO

Learn to use the frigging tray!!!! It'll save you so much time on running. You can load the food for a table and also grab dishes on the way back for the next order. Ya'll need to practice that because that's where you get bottle necked. You're losing games and progress why not practice?!!

Yeah. Eight blueprint cabinets full of expensive goodies but still only three dinner tables. There is too much future-proofing.
