There's 5 customer stages at a table. Thinking (head with cogs), waiting to order (bell icon and progress bar, this is what you eliminated with the yelling orders card), waiting to be served (plate icon with progress bar), table partially served (covered dish icon with a fast progress bar), and eating (no progress bar).
9:41 I love how much of an animal lover Skizz is :’) 15:02 “Just call it ‘spit in my mouth’” “That’s a little bit aggressive” 15:25 “I could take a piss in your mouth” Skizz to Grian, Sons of The Forest 59:49 “I think we should do mushroom… sounds like Tango and Skizz at high school. On a Friday night” 1:54:49 “Sounds like Tango’s being choked” Ayoooo????
Luckily this is mostly an Arizona problem (Arizona being where Tango, Skizz, and Impulse all live). Other parts of the US thankfully do not suffer from scorpion infestation
For anyone wondering, the customer steps go as follows: 1. Wait outside (skipped if there's already an open table) 2. Wait at coffee table (same as above, or if there's no coffee table obviously) 3. Think 4. Wait to order 5. When you take their order, wait for food 6. When you bring their food and if there are 2+ people, wait for the rest of the food 7. Eat 8. Repeat 4 to 7 for other courses (soup, main dish, coffee, ice cream, etc) Then they leave. What The first card removed was step 4. Tango seems to have thought it removed 3 and 4. It's nice not having to go to a person to tap and take the order, but it does decrease overall time a customer allows you.
Plan ahead, you can't use a combiner now, but will you need it once you have the grabbers? I have a 'shopping list' of things and if I see any of them (and I can afford it) I buy and store in a room for later use. - Grabbers / Smart grabbers - Combiners (cheese and tomato to base) - Portioner (oil and pizza) - Mixer (cheese) - Heater mixed (Tomato, combiners adds the base and cheese, then it heats) - Frozen prep (better than a freezer, because a freezer stores one half pizza but a prep station can take that half and add a second half - freezers are good for soup)
Frozen prep is good after you get portioners and grabbers, but freezer can hold a whole pizza. Combiner with oil pointed at a sink and grabber pulling flour into the sink will make a pizza dough.
Research desk first, copy desk second is always best! Then find a blueprint cabinet, copy it and you have infinite cabs to research and copy all the blueprints. Its OP! Also never delete a desk either, the game will still give you more eventually to get a blueprint desk.
The new move is to save the first research desk and hope for a second one next day. Upgrade to copy desk and throw away your original research desk. This will put research desks back into the "staple appliances" rotation and increase the likelihood of getting another one that can be copied into discount and blueprint desks. Then you go crazy with blueprint desks and get everything you need to automate
why on earth do you always want the discount desk first? its really only good when paired with the copy desk and you have enough cabinets that you have a number of blueprints (grabbers, cabinets, smart grabbers, etc) that youre just copying every round so that you can repeatedly discount them and bring their costs down to nothing; blueprint desk is far and above the best desk for early game
52:30 That scrubbing brush was basically useless. He was already reducing floor mess (eventually to nothing) from being formal and the dishes were already almost instant from having the power sink. At that point, the speed up the brush does over the base power sink speed is lost to human reaction time anyways. You'll take 0.1s to clean a dish either way, even if the brush has it done in 0.03s. If he'd bought the brush and not the sink, he could have researched that sink into a basin. Then you gets the best of both worlds - fast cleaning and 4 load capacity.
As nice as it is people can donate bits via the game, I do think it makes earning money in the game harder. Bits for you means no coins in game right? Edit: Ah, been keeping my eyes on the money and you do actually get game money when someone donates bits. That's nice.
Never played the game but love watching the streams. For pizzas, Seems like a frozen prep could be useful. Put together a RAW cheese pizza and freeze that. Start the round and initial pizza making time is saved, add the extra ingredient if the first customer wants it.
A whole uncut pizza doesn’t fit in the prep station, they need to upgrade a counter into a freezer for that (and the other potential counter upgrade, a workstation, would speed up skizz’s chopping even more)
Watch the timer at the top, no reason to keep making stuff when you're not gone get more people. Tell skizz it literally shows you about how many people you will get so make that many pizzas and no more, then he can actually help with the front
It's hilarious to me the amount of times Skizz puts the raw flour on a counter in panic mode not knowing he can just put it back in the sack lol.

As soon as the video started I was like ‘if they cook pizza, I’m having pizza tonight’ and Skizz makes a bee line straight for the pizza xD

he should play this with jits it would be funny seeing all 4 of them trying to figure out how to cook food
I do love watching you guys play plate up

Another plateup stream, another happy day 😊
Just finished binging the plate up streams a few days ago, glad to see the next one is up

the entire time after he had single groups, i was like checker the tables! offset them into a zigzag pattern so they are right up agianst eachother.
Should've named the restaurant "Spitzza"
So proud of your new kitten skizz!!
He showed her at the end of his vod, she's so freaking cute 🥰
Honestly, closing Minecraft is probably what fixed the lag at the start. I’ve noticed that game doesn’t like being in the background.
“Happy today day”
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
This should not be as funny as it is

The restaurant name was such a missed opportunity! "Hock a Luigi's" was right there!
I'm actually embarrassed by how easily my brain read that as "hock a loogie"
@@babidavi6910 exactly!
The only use for a prep station on pizza is if you use it with a portioner. Not worth it over a freezer though
Keep these episodes coming!
This game needs a sandbox mode so you can try out blueprints before buying them. Or a short clip how to use them.

My neuro glitch could not listen to Skizz hup hup hup but this does seem like a fun game!
Can you reroll a copy? Because if so, that seems like it could be a little broken.
@tangotek got a question would you ever play plate up with your viewers. I am really good at it enjoy playing it.
How did they get the blueprints to appear outside the restaurant every time?
It's in the settings, I think it's Settings -> Gameplay -> envelopes spawn inside...yes/no
@@Yalsof Thanks a million!
I'm impressed you discovered a new kind of lag =)
When I saw the cosmetic things Skizz picked for his kitchen I felt so happy cause we have the same taste

I agree, but I think the number shows expected groups, not the exact number of people.
@@trucvanessa2346 older updates showed the exact number, but the current version no longer does that
Skizzes inefficient layouts with lots of walking space make me nervous.
