- Just realised I never clarified which side is which, in case it is not obvious: The left is EA WRC, the right is WRC Generations, in the latter part of the vid, top is EA, bottom Generations.
EA Sports WRC vs WRC Generations, how do they compare?
Sadly I did not find identical stages but it is the same Rally, both are at Monte Carlo Rally in the Hyundai i20 N Rally1.
Graphically it is a massive improvement, better lighting and more detail overall change the visuals entirely.
Sound wise it truly leaves WRC generations in the dust.
The stages also look much nicer, in this specific stage I chose for the video on EA WRC, you start a bit higher up in the mountains, descend into the village, the lower you get, the less snow there is, multiple environments in 1 stage.
New WRC has a bit more grip than Generations but not to much.

EA WRC but theres still a LOT of work to do if you compare it to real life, the differential and gearbox and pops and bangs are almost non existent in the game
Lets hope the flaws getting improved

Why is there ghosting behind the car on ea??
I suspect a certain setting is doing this, didn't dig into it as I mostly drive with hood or cockpit camera
TAA (Temporal Anti Aliasing)
Everything is yellow and blurry in EA WRC. Why?
If you are referring to the video, time of day has a yellow tint due to the sun position, the blur might be bitrate.
I have had the EA WRC since its release and yesterday I decided to return to the WRC GENERATIONS, I have returned to the store to return the EA WRC.
I don't care (for now) how bad the performance of the game is, I'm glad codemasters got the license, the gameplay and sound are just another level, but compare to DR 2.0 is another story, missing random events .
Dirt Rally 2 has better sound , graphics and model driving
You compare a dry asphalt special in ea wrc with a partially snowy ( wich is very slidy ) special in wrc génération... I dont really understand the purpose of that. The grip abd the physic will ve totally different. Take a Croatia, belgium, Germany or spain for fair side by side.

KTT version are really Bad, wrong car physics, bad co-driver voices, etc.
Never played WRC Generstions I see.
