@Mumul Dwitama to be honest most Americans can't. I say that as an American who couldn't before getting into Kpop, kdrama and also watching Japanese and Chinese content. Now I can cause I was exposed to the different cultures and languages and facial features more often. That is why most people are so excited that kpop is getting bigger in the US so people can learn more about asian cultures abroad but there are also many asian americans here and people know next to nothing about them. It's sad, but getting better.

Blackpink is a Korean group. 3 members speak English and 2 of them come from foreign countries. Lisa (the first rapper, main dancer) is Thai. Jennie (the first one singing in the mv, lead vocal, main rapper, she was the second rapper in the video and rose is the one with red half and she's Australian (main vocalist, lead dancer) and jisoo (lead vocalist with the black hair)
When you have a great track that has been mixed well, it doesn't matter if it is sung in English or not in my opinion. So funny when you thought you could understand what Rose′ was singing before you realised it was sung in English.

They're South Korean and are speaking Korean, not Japanese (which is why the genre is called K-Pop, not J-Pop). The songwriters tend to add some English words to appeal to an international audiences.
