Well done Valdemar. Fantastic video. More of the same please. Indeed EVs will suffer from similar failures to ICE vehicles which were all familiar with BUT also EV specific failures relating to drive train, motors, inverters, chargers, control electronics, etc, which we all need to educate ourselves in. The Technical School of Valdemar is a most welcome addition to Bjorn's YT channel. Greetings from Ireland.
I really love this content. It is so interesting to learn what kind of problems do occur with EVs compared to ICE cars. The idea that EVs would have no issues just because they do not have an engine is obviously not realistic, but the issues are different. I learned new stuff about my own car already watching these videos. I think Valdemar is a very good presenter. Keep them coming!
Keep the cars running - love this spirit of not wasting a good car. This is the future, because it makes economic sense. Keep making these videos, they are inspiring.
I wonder if it has corrosion on the resolver connection. Because it also displays position sensor fault. The car would trip out when it looses resolver signal even briefly
What an interesting video, so much better than that other guy that's always on this channel! :P :P :P Thanks for posting! Also it's good to have some variety in our gas station food now that Bjorn is eating all healthy so often. I'm not here for the cars man! I want to see people risking their lives with gas station food!
Maybe helpful information: my Ioniq 2017 (which shares a lot of components with this KIA) also has a very faint high frequency noise when accelerating, so this may partly be normal inverter noise. Mostly only hearable at low speeds. Although yours sounds a lot louder and doesn’t seem to go away once you hit a constant speed (as mine does). My car doesn’t have any faults and only 50k km. Any other Hyundai/KIA owners which are familiar with this?

A lovely video. Nicely done. I love the quiet Norwegian style.

Valdemars motto:
Always
Bring on the
Challenge 😃
You have a natural talent
Maybe a bearing or bush going in the motor causing resistance so the motor shuts down due to friction or heat?
This can be Bjorns new car once fixed!
Smooooth tool chest drawers Bjorn!!!

Im curious what the problem is
Bjorns new whip? 😄
Valdemar! 👑
The first time in my life I am watching an advert twice.
Perfect!
Could you swap the electric motor from your other Soul to this car and see if fault goes away?
I just saw a burnt windings of an Ioniq where the bearing had grenaded and ground the windings and shorting the motor...
super video
Elbilsmek👍👍👍
KiaValdemars following KiaBjørn i like it
8:10 - I guess idea is not to create local emissions so from that you'd imagine it be ok.
❤❤❤
Bjorn's new car ?
Wow, a hybrid half Tesla, half Kia 😂
I hope that Voldemort did not throw away his money in vain. Good luck with repair!
You are hard to hear sometimes. Either speak up or fix the mic. Maybe helps if you try to speak more clearly too.
Brown cheese???? Nutella buddy
No, not in Norway, we use brown cheese (brunost). Nutella is fine, but that is normal in other countries.
Nugatti > Nutella!
