I like how the music fits the instructions for the level. The way it uses the 'bops one way bops that way' rhythm, it gives you a tense feeling that not only do you need to progress, but you're limited by also having to keep Peter unharmed.
Agreed I always felt the song perfectly fit the zany…light hearted comedic and intergalactic vibe of the level …even if you listen to the soundtrack as a whole this is perfectly placed near the end of the game right before the more sinister intestinal distress and buttville tracks (side note I still prefer the genesis version it just has that booming kick and snare drums lol)
@@superspeedbros i said that because this is sega cd 💿. Its his opinion but theres a difference between snes and redbook audio. Most snes games are close but never the exact same.
What the dog doin- NONONO DOWN BOY DOWN

What?
@@2l84me8 You have to visualise the game while the BG is playing to understand.

This is the true jam! My favorite stage
Are you insane
When you’re walking downtown and you don’t give a fuck
Peter: **Strolling**
Also Peter: **Turns into a Monster and Mauls Jim like a Savage lion**
And people say Down the Tubes is hard. 😐
There was a trick to this level. If you just ran as fast as you could and left the dog behind he wouldn't mutate and come get you to drag you back
@@Recon-cv1fe But he catches up so fast!
@@superspeedbros You have to do it at the very start of the level. Any other time he'll get you
@@Recon-cv1fe One of the many reasons speedrunner tactics bore me.
Navigating Down the Tubes part 2 is stressful, for sure. This exists in it's own right as a new nightmare for players who see it for the first time.
Just not the same without the Seinfeld bass guitar.
This is the only song I prefer on the SNES version.
I like this one better.
@@MissJackietheLakester muuuuuch better.

this level can eat my taint
I hated this stage so much. At least the song for it was good.
