I just assembled this, and i understand why people have problems. But the thing is that the wires for the top and bottom have different sizes, so if you cant get it to fit then you need to switch the wire walls so that it fits. The side things are two different sizes too. Once i did that it assembled fine. You cant see that it's different sizes, but they are.
I got this for my ferrets but the tunnel to the bottom keeps falling off while they go down it, is there any way to prevent this I don’t want them getting hurt..
I had issues with the small sides sliding into the bottom part when assembling it. The gray pieces that clip onto the cage sides didn’t slide in easy at all I did the top first and it was fine but the ones for the bottom just wouldn’t go in for me for nothing!

Not sure why the bottom corner pieces weren't like the top ones. It had me so upset that I almost wanted to send it back. The only other thing I would change would be the size of the doors. Its hard to reach the back for cleaning because they are so small.
I hear ya!! The whole Frigging cage except for the top was sheer hell to put together, it took me 3 1/2 hours, a rubber mallet and a bunch of swearing to get the stupid thing together. I had ordered a second Critter Nation but cancelled the order and ordered this cage due to the pans on this model. I have 3 female rats and thought they would like digging in the litter and it would be easier than cleaning their fleece every other day (they are babies and not litter box trained as of yet). When we got our first Critter Nation for our then three males it took me and my son 15 minutes to put together! The only reason I didn't reuse our Critter Nation is we have it set up for my son and daughter in law's 2 chinchillas when we critter sit them. I do like this cage, it's huge and the tube ramps are pretty cool but jeeze this guy makes putting it together look so simple but those bottom little plastic edges are soooooo tight on almost every edge. Two did slide like he showed on one side...I but the rest were TIGHT even though I had them lined up correctly. NEVER AGAIN!! 😩
@@Anna-fi9ex I used a Mallot to jam them in, if you feel like taking the time I am pretty sure that the peices you are using are actually supposed to go on the top of the cage instead of the bottom, which means you’ll have to restart. But I just jammed them in, one of the pieces did end up breaking but I used zip ties and you would never be able to tell

Happened to me as well. I have used force to solve it :) If it is really so that, the wired parts are different for top and bottom part, then this should definitely be clearly stated in the manual. Because visually they are really not distinguishable. Since I already had one half completed I did not want to try playing with it swapping the pieces. The cage is really good otherwise.

Just got mine today and it's bent and warped, it's a nightmare to get together and the tube that connects the bottom to the top doesn't fit (to small) Nothing was labeled and there are no written instructions. Honestly for $280 you'd think it would be better. 3/10.
@@issa_tea9035 so apparently the tub it put on with screws. I had to use some from the bag with the wheels and screw the tube connection (tan ring) into the hole. Then the tube goes into it and it will hold. I had to watch a video in french. I didn't understand a single word but it worked lol

If you made a mistake with the sliding gray pieces and you’re trying to get it back out use dish soap to get it back out

i have the single and the doors are such a bugger to get open, they do get looser within time, its just annoying though
