2:00 Yes due to Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios owns the rights for The Addams Family characters and soon they will be released through Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment under 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment which is The Addams Family: The Complete Hanna-Barbera series Collection but originally released by Warner Bros., but due to MGM's current copyright holder for The Addams Family characters. But Disney/Fox and MGM previously released the Original live action series of The Addams Family, soon they'll re-released the Hanna-Barbera produced 1970's series originally released by Warner Bros. and they will be released the 1993 TV series also produced by Hanna-Barbera and Turner Entertainment and soon they will be released by Disney/20th Century Fox Home Entertainment (until June 30, 2020) and MGM Home Entertainment.

As of July 1, 2020, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment now officially distributed all MGM Home Entertainment catalog titles replacing 20th Century Studios Home Entertainment (Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment) since their deal expires on June 30, 2020, except the latest MGM/UAR films released by Universal Pictures Home Entertainment, because next year 2021, Warner Bros. & Universal Pictures Home Entertainment had a 10 year joint venture. I hoped Warner Bros. & MGM Home Entertainment would released The Addams Family (1964 TV series) and (1973 Hanna-Barbera version) with crossover between Scooby-Doo and The Addams Family would be included in The Addams Family The Complete Series Blu-ray, which will be released by MGM Home Entertainment and distributed by Warner Bros. I really liked these one hour specials. The Batman and Robin crossover along with Don Knotts and The Harlem Globetrotters were some of my favorite episodes. The condition of the DVD case I own is not that great anyway so I’ll definitely get this and even better that it’s on Blu-Ray.
Which of those Hanna-Barbara shows were shot on film? For it makes no sense to release _Batman_ on Blu-Ray because it's likely that it was shot on magnetic tape rather than film stock which means you can't remaster it in HD.
Oh wow, I have vivid childhood memories of that Harlem Globetrotters episode! I guess I never realized these were different from the regular series. Might have to pick this blu-ray up!
@Edward O I guess so but I’m focusing on MGM Cartoons and of course Tom and Jerry 1954-1958 but I just want them to restored and remastered the final Fullscreen Cartoons and I guess they can upgrade the CinemaScope cartoons as well.
Strange that they have the 60s Addams family cartoon on dvd but can't show this episode. (does this mean they can't release the 90s cartoon on dvd?) Also will they fix the intro for this set? (the other dvd set had the stars removed from the intro. We need a uncut intro.)
I can't wait for this! I really hope they release Scooy-Doo where are you?, The 13 Ghost of Scooby-Doo, A pup named Scooby-Doo, Scoob-Doo Mystery Incorporated, The made for Tv movies (like Ghoul School) and the 4 straight to Dvd and VHS movies Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island, Scooby-Doo and The Witches Ghost, Scooby-Doo and the Alien Invaders and Scooby-Doo and the Cyber case on Blu-Ray.
I love this incarnation of Scooby Doo. It'll be showing my age but I remember watching it when it was first on tv as part of Daryl Somers cartoon corner in Australia in the 70s. It's a shame most of the Scooby series have never been available in Australia, but I have bought , Where are You and the first release of new Movies from overseas. Looking forward to this release as it has some of my favorite guest star episodes not seen since childhood.

Some of these remasters are already on the Boomerang streaming service, but they use the edited DVD version of the intro instead of the proper uncut one. That makes me a bit worried for this release.
Bought the DVD version literally a couple days ago at a secondhand store, but I will pick this one up too as I purposely waited awhile on the DVD version because I knew it didn't have all the movies on there. Thankfully it was cheap. Keep in mind that I think the raw footage of the 60's and 70's Scooby's have just deteriorated over the years - if you watch the Diamond edition of Scooby Where are you it's barely better than VHS quality. I'm not sure how Warner stored their archived media or what source they used for the Diamond Scooby DVDs, but I can't imagine there will be much improvement on Bluray. Sad. The Scooby Meets Batman episode is still hilarious though.
Thanks to Cartoon Network reshowing Lock Ness Mess every day for what feels like months back in the early 2000s, I've seen that episode so many times that I forgot they even had other guests on there. I kid though because who could forget that Josie episode on the boat where the commercial kept cutting off Shaggy's punchline? Not me because that also had it's own dedicated month on Cartoon Network
Yeah even though Warner Bros. under licensed from MGM Home Entertainment through its Studio Distribution Services, LLC. in US and Canadian markets will be released The Addams Family Complete TV Collection Blu-ray with including the Scooby-Doo crossover episode even though MGM now currently owns the rights for The Addams Family franchise on behalf of Tee and Charles Addams Foundation.
I pre ordered this set when a TH-camr replied to a comment I put on a review for the Best of the New Scooby-Doo Movies. I refused to buy New Scooby-Doo Movies until I was informed about this Blu-Ray release because the original release was missing my top 3 favorite episodes.

Oddly enough they released the two Batman episodes on a standalone DVD some years ago named "Scooby-Doo! This gives me the creepy suspicion that even if it releases in Europe, it will omit the majority of languages.
