Actually the fake kånken was pretty good with its details. The “harsh” detailed button on the handles are supposed to be like that in the classic size, same with the adjustable straps (also the two black things are only for the mini kånkens).There are differences between the classic and mini. aside from the Swedish flag and material/zippers, the fake was exactly like the classic.
I have 3 swedish friends and they have kankens. One of them has 5 kankens...
they are so lucky that they are swedish.

You CAN wash kankens. You just have to do it as you do with sneakers lol (get them real wet then scrub with a brush)

Nah, I have fake ones and the buttons are ones that tells you if its fake. I use a classic fake 2nd gen Faken (i got scammed bcs karma lol) for school and it lasts at least a year, it's still fine right now it just looks somehow.. lazier?? I barely use it anymore. I got another mini one like 7 months after for regular going out bag and it looks more like an original. It's doing well and I lOve it. Anyway I'm not thinking of getting another fake one to replace my old school bag, pretty sure I'm just gonna get a cute brandless one for cheap. Kanken's design is just so practical and aesthetically pleasing. My fake one saved my textbooks from rain lots of time and the square design made sure my books arent folded at the edges. Thats it for my review bye

I got mine from Depop it was second hand but there was no rips or anything it was just quite dirty so i convinced my mum to get me it and when it came i cleaned it and it looks brand mew now. AND i bought it for £9!!!!!!!! Its also authentic cos there was a receipt in it from Urban Outfitters. So long story short not all cheap kankens are fake 👌🏼

Literally I just got mines today in the mail from Depop as well and I was just paranoid it wasn’t real but when I opened it, it was in the original package and I paid $49 for it which wasn’t that bad

The fake kankens still functions well as the original one. I was contemplating on buying the original in a full price because........they still supply the needs of what you need of the bag. The fake kankens are like, as durable as the original. Sometimes, I find that buying the fake and cheap ones are still as good as the expensive ones. I used a lot of fake items, and still, it works as what a it does for you. I have no regrets buying the fake ones. Sometimes the fake ones are much better than the original ones.

Don't worry, it took me like 3 years haha (I had the mini that I got for $40 on Amazon like 3 years ago tho lol) and I finally got the full size one and I didn't even buy it! It was a Christmas gift from my parents 😂 I just couldn't bring myself to spend that much on a backpack

I use my kanken (real) for school, and it has held up pretty well, considering I'm a theatre/art kid! I recommend getting a darker color, but they are relatively easy to clean. There are a lot of tutorials online about how to clean them. The full sized ones also have the weatherproof fabric like the mini does! Plus, you would be surprised at how much you can fit in them. I have all of my items, plus some room!
it may have been more accurate if you did the bags the same size because the markings are different between the mini and big💗❤️

The straps on the kanken are short because the backpacks are meant to help your back for when it’s heavy and just in general.

I say investing in a good backpack is better than just buying a fake one. Also Fjall Raven Kanken (the brand) ups their price because they invest in more eco-friendly methods of production so for me, that justifies the price.

The lassis doesn’t have the neat loops like the mini does. Also, the foam is made to keep the structure of the bag and to help your back when you carry.
The mini straps are supposed to be like that while the classic is supposed to be like that too

if you want to clean the real kanken, you have to use a good shampoo and scrub it with a toothbrush and only use really cold water.
I've never owned a backpack that's lasted me more that 6 months but my kankan has lasted me 3 years and nothing has happened to it except its a bit dirty
If your going to use it for school and you don’t want any stains on it just get the darker colored ones because it’ll be harder to notice them.
The re-kanken (official recycled bag) is actually made of a non waterproof material. So it wouldn't be noticeable.
The straps on the mini are shorter since they’re originally for kids. And the logo of the original is a reflector , some fakes I’ve seen are not.
The reason the original bag you have got dirty is that it’s not supposed to have a material that can stain it

i got a Kånken from Ebay for £10.99 and i know it’s probably fake but it’s a great fake- the straps, the button, the material all seem extremely similar to a real one. it has great structure and even the swedish flag!

Kankens are built to last way longer than the average school backpack. If you use it for a few years then it easily pays for itself. I've had mine for almost 7 years and it's in great condition! The price is very comparable to LLBean backpacks and other brands that offer lifetime warranties like Fjallraven.

I've had a mini and classic for just under a year and its wears so well. The only difference is it stains easily (you can wash it though). I originally bought it for my back as I was getting a really bad back problems from all of my books and it helps so much. Buying it for fashion is fine but like don't use it for just a month.
