Its like the beat of the heart melting with the universe. Never gets boring, always makes me feel happy. A real diamond for all music lovers. Magic ! ! ! Peace & love to all of you out there
This is wonderful! Truck drivers in Brazil listen to horrible music, music that treats women as objects. The style is sertanejo (brazilian country music), but we call it sertanojo (disgusting country music) - In a free translation.
@@ericagresti4116 that's definitely true. I think his use of vocals and overall approach however defined 2005-2015. His mind is definitely looking to the 90s a lot though, which is more current than say people inspired by the 70s or 80s
When you listen to basic channel and realize that first 10 minutes was an intro part And then you hear that strings sound that you didn't notice for previous 10 years of listening to this track Looks like my minimalist skills have increased
Sneaky, these tunes. You listen to them once and you might like them (or not) but you just leave them aside for a while until out of nowhere they're all you can think of and then you have to listen to them again. It's hard to get why but you just keep listening and then it all makes sense.
You cannot be more right Fred ! First listening: nice, but no crush. Two days later, for no reason, you want to play it again. Same thing two days later. And again, and again.... Until the whole universe makes sense.
I remember reading about their creative process and apparently they would put on a new track for the whole day and just leave and come back and see if the track sounds right.
Not a copy at all, but tracks like E2-E4 definitely inspired techno massively. It's also the track that really got me interested in techno. The track "Schizophrenia" by the duo also named Schizophrenia (one half of which was Moritz von Oswald, who was also one half of Basic Channel) actually samples "Sunrain" by Ash Ra Tempel. So yes, of course it's inspired by Göttsching.
I often listen to this track when trucking at night, great feeling when I'm all alone on the road with no one else around.
keep on trucking brother 🫡

Absolutely beautiful, spiritual and eternal. This is a piece that could be studied academically in the history of music.

Absolutely one of the best Techno tracks of all time. Like being in suspended animation for 20 minutes.
this track will be eternal. The definition & the beginning of dub techno.
Correct. This is the spiritual pinnacle of dub techno. However something that is eternal does not become eternal. It simply is.
I want listen forever! Awesome sounds, very hypnotic!
a wise man once said, "beauty is in the subtleties..." that man listened to basic channel...
hi. came here from the future. the year 2042 to be exact. still playing this track. timeless.

It sure is a high point in western culture.
@Abdeljalilkeddaoui I agree.
@Abdeljalilkeddaoui I think burial and now maybe Arca has pushed music forward into the future again
@@nickhyder9141 As great as Burial is I'd say his music is more nostalgic than futuristic

one word, mesmerising x
This is like a massage for the brain
All the Basic Channel stuff is forever
An annoying facebook messenger ad in the middle absolutely ruined it. Amazing song tho. Restarting it and I love the experience.

yup it was the airy vocals for me. I would be about my business and hear them in my head. I'm hooked now.
