I’m a San Diegan, born and raised. I went to the Bay Area for undergrad and London for grad school. I came back to San Diego to live my life after living in those places. It’s great. Food is obviously amazing. The weather isn’t bad haha, plus within 2 hours you can be in the snow during the winter, the desert, the beach, LA, or Mexico.
Josef and Lauren. My two fav vegans coming together for some fresh content. The vegan community is strong together💕🥑

I was so excited to see your reaction to all the vegan food spots in San Diego. I'm born and raised here and watching this just made me realize how much I take for granted all the amazing vegan option we have. Okay.. this was great!! I absolutely loved watching you all eat and the expressions on your faces are priceless when you were eating the burgers and egg etc.. Nat is so funny. I love watching you eat food just for the expressions. Your gorgeous and one of a kind for sure. Love you lots.
My boyfriend and I went to Ramen Hood and Chango Coffee! We had the best time. Both places were fabulous! And the vegan croissants from Chango Coffee are the best!!

I visited to San Diego in March and took my family to Donna Jean’s and we all also thought it was the best food ever! We even got 2 orders of the hot shrooms too- amaaaazing! Glad to see you loved it too!
The Rumpus Room in Vancouver (now recently re-located) does vegan corndogs and they are SO GOOD.

Yes!!! Move to San Diego! There's great food here and, not to brag or anything, but I got a bit sunburned lounging at the beach yesterday in 80 something degree weather! 😏
I'm from San Diego and the OB People's Co Op is the most wonderful community space. My parents used to go there when they were teenagers. I can't tell you how much it warmed my heart to see you stop by. I've gotten so many salads there and eaten them by the pier. Honest little taste of home dude thank you.

YES!!!! I was just in Paris, and went to Cloud Cakes for croissant. So incredible.
Best croissant I ever had :)! Wasn’t a big fan of the cakes while I was there, maybe just unlucky, but the croissants were heavenly.

I also purchased your cook book from Costco last week! My kids are so excited to make the recipes with me. The brownies were to die for!! Not too sweet & so delicious. The black bean taquitos...mm! We’re going to make the pulled “pork” sandwiches & the mac’n’cheese next week.
I made the nacho cheese sauce, and it was *so* off in flavour. It was way too tangy . I was so disappointed. But I will only add like 1 slice of pickled jalapeño next time and see how it turns out. I still have high hopes! I am determined!! Haha.
When she opened up the vegan fried egg I thought it was a dirty napkin from what was in there before hahaha

We are so lucky here in San Diego! I live in walking distance to Plant Power and People's! 😁 and Donna Jean's pizza is amazing!
Fun fact: looking for an amazing vegan drive through in Canada? Globally Local in London, ON has AMAZING vegan fast food. You have to check it out.

Lauren if you love croissants and if you're ever in Miami you have to try out this place, L' Artisane Bakery. It's a totally vegan French bakery and they won best croissant in all of Miami. The croissants and airy, buttery, and has flaky layers; I don't how they do it! They also have French pastries and desserts, everything is so delicious and must try if you visit Miami!

I've seen and had very similar (if not the same) vegan fried eggs from chinese grocery stores! and there's a brand called A&T that makes vegan bacon that are freakishly real with the marbling and everything like that too. if you can find them you should totally try them :)
actually madcapra is a falafel place in grand central market with vegan options. the falafel sandwiches are not your run of the mill sandwiches. they are not bad.

Ramen Hood wasnt the only vegan food there...Golden Road Brewery in Grand Central Market has great vegan food options that yall should definitely try next time yall are there : )

Just ate at Donna jean for the first time. It is really good! I must respectfully disagree with the fact that it is better than crossroads though. Crossroads is still #1. ♥️

Stephanie Turner Hey! A must try is Kindred.. they do an awesome brunch & the butterscotch sauce they serve w their pancakes is life changing! Veganic Thai Cafe is also incredible! If you like fast food try Native Foods Cafe! Enjoy your visit!! 🏝🤙🏼🌺🏄🏼♀️🌱
Stephanie Turner seconded on kindred! If you like Thai then Plumeria is awesome. For Italian, Cívico 1845 which also has non veg options. Mexican would be Pokez or Rancho Cocina. Also non veg options if you are traveling with non vegans.

really? the only ones ive seen, were ALMOST vegan but they had whey in them :/
Yes, I double and triple checked because all the ones I've seen have also had whey or milk solids in them, but these did not.
