Great review pal.
I did a comparison between Cragganmore 12 and the Craigellachie 13 and I would go with the Craigellachie every time. Maybe it was an unfair comparison.
Thanks for the great honest review. I will have a dram of the 12 now from this motivational review!
That.s how i like it also...big healthy pours to keep me warm in this bad times:) Good job Alan!!!
Nice job Alan. I do enjoy the Cragganmore 12, but I haven't had any others in the range. Cheers.
cheers as always Al
You make it sound much better than I remember. I've only had one, I think if I really liked it I would have bought more. Might need to revisit or try the 16. Cheers
Great review my friend👍🏻
Only had the 12y😋
I enjoyed the review sounded like a balance between rich melon fruits, some good vanilla, and a bit of spice. The confectionery note may be too sweet for me, but definitely a great nose eh! I was just thinking mouth watering when you mentioned it. I don't mind a drying finish. Just encourages me to have another sip. Time to find one of these for me! Thanks for the review.
Great review Alan. I spent $40 Cad more and picked up the 12 Peated cask strength
Cheers for the review Alan. Yet to try Cragganmore. After it featured in the Angels Share movie it was something I always fancied trying but always seem to forget about it
I will make up your dramples on Thurs and will pop one of these in... Any others you fancy trying Alan?
the whisky friend always happy for surprises Alan. There loads I haven’t tried so I’m sure whatever you think. Cheers
Very enjoyable review. Enjoy your holiday, we'll be here when you get back! What distilleries are you planning to visit while you're cruising Scotland? Cheers All!
Cheers Jerry... Not sure yet... Still checking which one have re opened... Cheers fella
Great review Alan. In SA the 12yo is one of the most expensive 12 year olds, so it is not that popular here. Enjoy your holiday. Take care.
Good review Alan. Yes I agree the cragganmore 12 is a good solid dram from diageo. Have diageo stopped producing the distillers version of this?
yes they do David, however its going into a price range where there is so much more whisky, probably at better value....cheers buddy....
Well done Alan, new to the channel. Enjoy your style.
Remind me of my father. Love the shed !
well Chris thanks for watching and your kind words my friend hope you enjoy the rest of my content fella...cheers Alan
nice one Alan will have to put this on my list, enjoy your break
Cheers fella... Its a wonderful everyday dram...
The only version of Cragganmore that I can get is the 12, and what an excellent whisky it is... This has got to be the best 40% 12 year old single malt that I'm familiar with, bar none.
It's a good one Quig... How you doing fella...?
@@thewhiskyfriend I'm tired of working... Gonna take a vacation by the ocean in a couple of weeks.
@@foodquig good for you my friend....enjoy....
Great review! Dose Craginmore develop much over time after opening the bottle? Enjoy your holiday!
Sulphite ammonia caramel ADDED, Chill filtered, waterly , less of a taste, smell of damp place. 1+ of a 6
Did you guy the 2019 release the peated cask strength one with the owl on the box? Sounds great but for 75 bucks a bottle here where I am well there is alot of things I can get for that money. Great review.
I'd love to see a video about how Diagio came up with the list of 6 classic malts.
so would i my friend...let me look into that one ....cheers Alan
the whisky friend thanks
We can get the 12 and the Distillers edition here in Ontario for a hair under $100. Which one would you go for, Al, if you had the choice?
I would go for the 22 Richard as it is the cheapest one of the 2 here... It is just a really well put together whisky and if you like it my friend then go get the distillers... Cheers fella...
Alan never tried anything from this distillery but the 40%, colouring and chilled filtering put me off. Will look out for independent bottlings any suggestions.
Had myself a 20cl bottle of this some time ago. Incredibly cute bottle and the whisky is quite good. Too bad about the stingy 40%, chill filtering and coloring though. 46%, non chill filtered and natural color and I would buy it all day long. Though, it is a good purchase now as well.
But, until them, I will support the other integrity distilleries for now.
