I have a 36 inch Vride , I bought it in February. Sticker was $7000.00 but they had a sell going on by the dealer and then Scag matched it for $500.00 off a piece and I got mine for 6 K . It was my first time looking at them and I'm not sure if it was one of those boost the price tag price and then act like it is a good deal or not but I"m just offering this info up for a price comparison for you . I'm in Oklahoma . Love my Vride . It's a great little mower. They come with two motor options . I got the 19hp Kx600v which I recommend , hope you get a great deal !
WH Thanks for letting me know. I'm down in Texas so not far from you. Scag extended their fleet pricing until the end of June. My dealer originally had it for $7,100 but now it's $6,100 with the fleet pricing. I'm definitely getting the electric start haha.

That happened to my 52" prostance and it took me 2 days to find it and it cost me $.39 to fix it. Luckily I got 2 48" and a 34" Gravely. If I would of watched this prior to that I would of fixed it in 5 minutes. Thanks for the schooling Brothers from another mother.
my dixie chopper did the same thing with that fuse ran my battery completely dead. but i also did the same thing cleaned it up with dielectrical grease and keep extra fuses it might go again keep your eye on that fuse it did it usually twice a year. great video Andy. every mower has there flaws.
Where do you find the " dielectric grease " ? Would it be in the electrical section at Lowes ? And do you think silicone spray lube would work ? Thanks !
WH it should be in the electrical section but u always bought it at an auto parts store. I also buy an electrical spray that cleans the contacts and the use the dielectrical grease and that works the best. keeps the moisture out. hope this helps

W&W Lawn Care , Hiddy ! If you are asking about the dielectric grease. I haven't bought any but when I do I'll go to auto parts stores to look for it. I'm just south of OKC , what part of Ok are you in ?

That same fuse blows all the time in my BRAND NEW 2017 Gravely Pro Turn 260 as well. Dealer cant figure out why... Gonna take it to another dealer to see if they can figure it out.

I have gravely pro stance 52" recently started stalling when reverse i push lever fwd. and would be ok by end of today could not go fwd or back I then released e brake and pushed safety button w my thumb in order to drive mower onto trailer could that hidden fuse be the cause? or should I assume its the safety switch? Help?? thanks- tom

Great topic. I recently picked up a 2015 Gravely Pro-Stance 52", and am having trouble with the deck height adjustment. The manual states to turn that adjusting bolt CLOCKWISE to lower the deck height, and COUNTER-CLOCKWISE to raise it. I've found in practice that the opposite appears to be true. Can you clarify this point?
Also, the deck lift trunnions that the adjusting bolt threads through on the front of my deck are both maxed out and touching the underside of the adjusting bolt jam nut, yet my blades are 5/8" below my set height. Any idea on why? Rear tire pressures are set to factory spec, HOC selector wheel is properly calibrated. I can't get the front edge of the deck any higher since the trunnions are maxed out. Is there something I'm missing?
If he had the Toro's when you got the Gravely would you have gotten the Toro? Why do you like the Toro again? I don't remember, I've heard they have the best mulching cut.

Another common sense reason to adjust the front of mower decks .25 inch to .5 inch lower than rear of deck is rider weight that will be added when in use. Most of your 200 lb weight will be on rear tires (or in case of a stander, all of your body weight) and this will cause those rear tires to squish down about .12 inch or so. (So, if you just leveled your deck, with no forward/downward tilt, you now have your deck in a backward tilt condition. Bad)
Literally no help at all
