Such great, insightful, concise instruction. I liked this one a lot. I'm listed as a +3 and still need these reminders all the time.

Love this one. Recently been having this visualization and my ball striking has been phenomenal. Amazing how a slightly open face (feels really open to me) and contact on that inside quadrant can allow you to turn as much as you want to still hit a little draw. Sounds good too!

See, this is what I always thought you should do, but most teachers "experts" say that to hit a draw you close the club face at address, not open it. We are told to close the club face and aim right of the target with our shoulders and hips. To hit a draw or a fade I think you have to open the club face. It does seem to be about which quadrant you make contact with the ball. Inside quadrant for a draw, and outside quadrant for a fade. My experience with the draw is that if I don't open the face, I will smother the ball with a low hook. What I want, and what most golfers want I believe, is a high draw that carries far then gets a good roll out for extra distance.
