I'd recommend double stacked sandbags instead of hasco blocks. It's 50 for hasco blocks, and 50 for double stack sandbags that are 2x the width. Plus, a halfway dug hasco block can be driven over (its flat laying on ground). Double stack sandbags can't be driven over at various stages: the top sandbag would need to be completely removed, even stakes, for a vehicle to drive over. This is especially useful on Basrah for insurgents, because their sandbags are 10.

most tank can be turn amphibious since lot of them have protection against gas warfare and nuclear fallout you just need to somehow make the air intake be above water
@@aoki6332 That's not fully "swimming", like say the AAV used by the US Marines can. That's more wading. Every modern tank can ford a river to various depths with setup. Only very specific vehicles can float, and even then some of those require a lot of setup. Like for example, the same US Marines LAV "can" float, but most crews don't like to because it takes time to seal everything up and even then with all the modern armor add-ons it's barely below the weight to do it successfully. Same is true if the Russian BMP series, in theory they can, in practice they shouldn't.

One of my all time favorite strategies is blocking the bridges on this map, especially if BLUFOR is on the other side of the river, since their stuff can't swim generally
I actually remember seeing an old video of a Russian tank crew being stopped by a deep river, so naturally they don their rebreathers and drive the tank underwater to the other side. Basically turned their tank into a submersible/submarine. I can't remember how they were stopped the engine from hydro locking immediately.
@natyr707 I'm not sure. I don't think I've seen a video or read anything on turbine tanks doing snorkel or amphibian crossings. Not saying it isn't possible, just that I haven't come across info or video on it

there use to be some maps in world of tanks you could do this for and as a defender it let you win without fighting. they not only changed all the maps to allow a water crossing but also made it possible to push dead tanks out of the way.

The sandbags can be destroyed by HE rounds of most medium to heavy vehicles.
