Juliane, you have been an inspiration to thousands of hikers and non hikers alike. Eight months ago, I watched your video "From Wheelchair to hiking 2200 miles. What an inspiring video! Your story of childhood rheumatoid arthritis to becoming a dance instructor and hiking the AT was one of the most inspiring stories that got me back into hiking again. I have nondiabetic neuropathy which makes walking extremely painful and very poor balance. I was so inspired by you that I went back and watched EVERY one of your past videos and all your new ones including this one. I was a past LASH hiker and now have re geared up and hiking section hikes once again...all because of you! I plan next year to hit the AT and do several LASH hikes. Your videos every day are my go-to channel to see what you are up to next. Keep up being you and being an inspiration to everyone you meet!
RR. Your interactions with each person you have met, has been on point. Each one brought a lesson, or a perspective and has made your journey so much richer. Congratulations on the whole experience. You are an inspiration. 👏🥾🥾
You're just bookin' through Oregon 💪🥾, dang girl! You do motivate! You're helping keep my PCT dream alive. Was supposed to continue section hiking this year but got sidelined by a breast cancer recurrence. 😢. I do videos too, in hopes of motivating and inspiring others with similar health challenges as well as being in the 60+ category. I've been so enjoying your videos and love your trail banter. Thank you for vlogging!🌻💛
Good morning, Juliane. Weather-wise, it was a dreary day, but your smile and positive attitude brightened up the day. Glad you met back up with Sonic. You're always more animated when you're hiking and/or camping with someone else. Wow! It's strange to see snow in late July or early August. Rain + snow equal slush and slush is a pain to hike through. You're doing great, killing the miles. Take care. Stay safe. See you tomorrow.
Great video, thank you! I enjoyed the information on how you met your tramily members and impressions. Yes Julianne, you are inspiring a LOT of people including me.
I remember so much about these areas. Thank you for showing them again. That river with snow on top was a trip to see as it was just a regular river crossing for me last year. Wow! Smokey was not there last year next to that sign!
Enjoyed your first encounter tramily stories today. Glad you are hiking with Sonic for now. You always seem even more upbeat when you are with someone.
Love the Tramily stories! Especially the one with Somewhere (who I believe a few posts ago I called Summer). Sorry, Somewhere. Hopefully as you all cross the Bridge of the Gods entering, Washington, you can do so together. Yay to good days! Be Safe and Happy Trails!
Ah, Jefferson Park has always been magical for me. You showed some nice views of the scenery and trail through there. That big snowfield on top of Park Ridge never completely melts during summer and it's a pleasure to cross on a really hot summer day. It's unfortunate that you traveled through there on a day with heavy smoke and cloud cover, you couldn't see the top of Mt Jefferson or view it from the dock at Olallie Lake (it's a really beautiful view). I skied into Jeff Park one Memorial Day weekend and it was gorgeous with the snow cover, but I slid into a tree well and tore an MCL. Fortunately, my crampons on the back of my pack dug into the tree so I didn't end up head first in the well, which might have permanently ended my adventures since it was a solo trip. I need to revisit there this fall if the fires remain minimal in the area.
When you said those women gave you the great compliment of being inspiring I remember thinking when I told you that you are going to make a difference. I was already a subscriber then but I knew it the moment you went out of your way to merely to come say hello to me. At the Partnership Shelter in ‘22. Yup. You’re living life right. Keep being Juliane.
Thank you for sharing your trail friends. I remember your AT tramilies, please share how you transition from these close 24/7 relationships after the trail. And, thank you for motivating me, it may not be a PCT or AT thru hike, but I will have and share experiences that I would otherwise not pursued. Stay safe and enjoy!
You are a part of our daily routine and we look forward each day to the arrival of your latest adventure. Enjoyed the stories of first meetings. I think we get the videos about 9 days after the occurrence, so giving advise is not really helpful or timely. However!! I do hope that I don't see a 24-hour challenge in one of your future posts. You said you won't do it and I hope you stick to that idea. Going fast through Oregon is also not on my list of great ideas. We are just hoping you keep your pace to the length of miles YOU desire. You are already crushing this hike. Plus, what will we do if you finish so soon!? Back to your introvert conversation. Introvert: Being in a crowd of people runs down your batteries and you need to find a peaceful place to re-charge them. Extrovert: Being in a crowd and working the room charges your batteries. I know as an introvert that I require a certain amount of time to myself or with just my wife to charge my batteries. I think you are an introvert, but you have an outgoing desire to be friendly and with another person or a small group of people who can get along. Discord would discharge your batteries. Just some additional thoughts on your introvert conversation. We don't think you should ever worry about skipped miles. I think from past years, fires and other blockages have made thru-hikers skip a portion of the trail. This is insignificant when compared to the total 2,600 miles of the trail. I don't like to see you hiking alone in some parts that are dangerous (rivers crossings, etc.) and prefer you to have company on those portions. Looking forward to every one of your videos. Don't worry about what we or others say. I think you have the VLOGing down with just the right amount of scenery and talking. This is also the record of your hike forever in the future. I also think you can sing, right? However, we don't get much of your singing and maybe a little more celebration dancing. Thanks.
Interesting (to me) that you brought up Frozen as he is on the PCT also and somewhere (not the hiker) nearby, depending on your respective time delays. 🤔. As you probably already know. 😋
Loving your videos and seeing some of the same sites as Frozen’s videos (you must not be too far apart). I also enjoyed your stories about meeting your tramily members :-) Best wishes as you continue north :-)
I really enjoyed your origin stories of what I guess was your tramily. Except Somewhere. I think she's still hiking around you, right? Anyway I enjoyed the stories and I'm glad you told them.
❤😊❤ long miles..When you were filming Sonic, you were taking two steps to his one... according to sound..He's long legged😊 Enjoyed the talks.. Blessings and safe trails
I thought when your Tramily arrived at Creek House you'd been hiking together for a long time. You seemed such a cohesive group already. Glad you see beauty in the burns. We just got through the Borel Fire here and not over the shock of it. Worried about our bears and deer. But nature heals, I keep telling myself that. You must be at or past Cascade Locks by now and stumped by the Washington PCT closures. Good time to make an alternative hike to wait out the closures?
Enjoying your videos! I’m also watching Frozen’s videos. You seem to be around the same areas. (He might be a bit ahead.) So just wondering if you have run into him yet? Stay safe! Happy trails! 😊❤🙏
Hi du, begegnest du auf den Wegen auch mal Bären oder Wölfen? Hast du manchmal Sorge, allein zu sein? Oder kommen immer mal Hiker an dir vorbei jeden Tag?❤
Interesting - so it was Somewhere who put you on the path to breaking with Chap. Since day 1 it was obvious you were a stronger hike constantly making compromises. When you hit snow on San Jac, Somewhere represented the (strong/independent) type of hiker you wanted to be/hike with. As the negativity (FUD) increased on B-P, you had that recent, real life example of how others were excited about the upcoming Sierra challenges. Once you realized you *too* could have /share an entirely different experience, goodbye wet blanket.

You inspire me every time I watch your videos and you can tell us anything you want. Your smile brightens our lives.
I’m walking the Camino mid-Sept to mid-Nov. Your videos inspire me. Thank you!
You were blessed to meet so many nice people on trail. It was nice hearing the stories about how you met them! 😊
I enjoyed hearing the stories of how you met each of the tramily. This was a great day!

You motivate me everyday to get outside and enjoy the day. Thank you for continuing to share your journey.

Thanks again for the great videos. If you had told me you were 20 I would have believed you.
Well done on your milage today! It truly amazes me how fast you hike with a pack on! Love hearing your first impressions of meeting your tramily!
Great video, thank you! I enjoyed the information on how you met your tramily members and impressions. Yes Julianne, you are inspiring a LOT of people including me.

Thank you for sharing stories on first meeting trail family members! Yes the scenery is pretty! Be safe and have fun!😊
Enjoyed your first encounter tramily stories today. Glad you are hiking with Sonic for now. You always seem even more upbeat when you are with someone.
That's so cool how the hiking community knows, and follows, each other. I've been following Frozen too. 😁
Loved the tramily stories. Thanks!
I really enjoyed this one . Olallie lake is a favorite of mine. 😊
Yes, Olallie Lake is a beauty! To bad she couldn't see Jefferson from the dock that day with the smoke 😕

Hi really enjoyed hearing how you met everyone 😊
Thanks for the back stories on how you met your Tramily

Coincidence! Just binged your earlier pct videos and saw when you first introduced Boujee, Birdcall and Boss bae to us! Thanks for sharing
Forgot to say...Glad you got a new tent and poles.

I would also like to hear about her ongoing relationships with her At tramily Cheeseball, Focs and Groceries and even Chap
@@intotopei Assuming it's on-going... I don't assume that
You motivate me too ❤

You're inspiring me. I'm currently at a place near the PCT in the sierras and took a hike on it yesterday. Someday I'll do the thru hike.
I love your videos and hearing what's on your mind, Roadrunner.
Loving your videos and seeing some of the same sites as Frozen’s videos (you must not be too far apart). I also enjoyed your stories about meeting your tramily members :-) Best wishes as you continue north :-)
Loved the video. Thanks for sharing about your tramily. Hopefully you will be able to see bossbay and birdcall again soon. Have fun and be safe.

Your rain jacket is a really nice color on you.
Thanks!
You didn't mention how you met Sonic! Enjoy your hike, I am, thanks.
Yes, please share that story.
I agree, please share your first impressions and interactions.
Great video
Chupacabras make that sound when you startle them, they are also attracted to shiny tents.
Is Somewhere attempting a calendar year triple crown?
Tell uw about foot care please. How do you handle having wet feet day after day?
Frozen on the trail is hiking the PCT this year his videos are showing the same places a day or two apart
Love Your stories of your Tramley!!! Keep Rocking...btw, Where in Germany r u from? Stay safe
Enjoying your videos! I’m also watching Frozen’s videos. You seem to be around the same areas. (He might be a bit ahead.) So just wondering if you have run into him yet? Stay safe! Happy trails! 😊❤🙏
Which have of the AT does Somewhere still have to finish?
LOL Boujee had attitude?
Wow, BossBae and Birdcall were tired back then?
Love how Somewhere doesn't give AF.
Surprised you add Frozen haven't hiked together?
Just curious - do you live in the south? I know you like the accent. Carry on! I’m vacationing in Oregon but suffering with the frequent smoke.
Show the trail camp and town
Stay safe
Do you miss Lil Chap? LETS GO!
