Great video! I'm not quite in the financial spot to get one of these LAB's, but I did just buy a barely used TaylorMade Ghost (48in) off of Facebook for pretty cheap. Just wanted to tinker around with it to see if it was an option for me. I absolutely love it and will never go back to a short putter.
Adam Scott and now Will Zalitoris using the LAB Broomstick. I haven't tried one yet, I us an armlock and putt too well with it to mess things up! So True about the clubs knowing their replacement is on the way and begin to behave! Had a driver a few year ago do that!
get the mezz 1 max broomstick. it's what i have - 47', 79.5 lie - i absolutely love it, far and away the best putter out there (for me). they are not cheap but you'll never buy another and you'll sink most ever putt promise. love LAB golf. honestly i've worried that the PGA would outlaw them because they are so easy to hit and so deadly. buy one now. they also have an online fitting that i used and it was spot on.
How can you do an online fitting and get fit to a 47” putter? In the virtual fitting, Sam says to use a club from your bag… and there’s no clubs longer than 45-46”(?)
I accidentally got one haha. Purchased a driver and hybrid and with them was a ghost putter, the fact that it has a long handle skipped my attention, it feels very comfortable (tho need to re grip it, the grip is shedding on it) I wonder if I should go with a long continuous grip or a split one like this? Lovely video, learned a lot on using the thing.
I have the DF.2.1 broom with the stability shaft and the lines that go the length of the head.. so easy to line up putts... I think you should go with the DF... I'm really loving my spaceship...
Great video Thank you. I currently use a DF 2.1 left handed. Improved my putting a great deal. I still find myself inconsistent with the lag put. I am naturally right handed but batted left handed in baseball. Played D1 College baseball. So when I started to golf I started left handed. I am thinking of going to the broomstick method but right handed. That way I can take advantage of my right handed natural skills. My quandary is whether to go with the Mezz Max or the DF 2.1 where I have a familiarity. What has been your verdict between the two. Is the DF 2.1 heavy enough? Everyone seems to be going with the Mezz Max. Thank you

What weight head did you use in Mezz 1 max broomstick? How do you determine what weight to use without trying it? I haven’t found any place that has one to try. Do you know what weight head the pros on tour use?
Does anyone know how to try out different shaft materials (the $$ upgrades) in store somewhere? I’d like to try out the TPT or LA Golf upgrades before buying them
@@bryanzgolfpro I was leaning towards splurging on the TPT. Do you know how to do the heavier head upgrade on their website? I’ve heard this is an option. Thanks
I would start with measuring your driver which should be about 45 inches. Hit some putts with it. The toe will be down because of the flatter lie angle but it will give you an idea. If it feels too long, choke down until you feel comfortable. That's the best way to do it in my opinion.
interesting take! I would agree that historically the move to broomstick has been a desperation move for sure. However I think it's changing and guys are going to it for other reasons as it becomes more widely accepted, especially by age group. Ernie Els thinks it should be banned altogether. Doubting he would say that if it was merely a band aid for bad putters. Just my opinion!

If you do a giveaway for the df broomstick... count me in!! Lol
I feel the same! The tpt shaft feels amazing to me... Super impressed with it, total difference maker
Best instruction to this day on how to use the mezz max broomstick
I would definitely go for the Mezz Max in the broomstick, especially with the TPT shaft, though in standard length I prefer the DF 2.1.
100% agreed although the DF3 looks pretty sweet!
@@bryanzgolfpro really good point, may be worth waiting to see when they do the DF3 in Broomstick

Thanks for spending around a grand for the two putters. Good video.
business expense for him, I use a 14 year old Odysee two ball 48" don't notice twist
I just ordered a DF3 broom with a Tpt my putting is crushing my card with 2-3 putts man about 3 weeks and hope that will change the game
I use an Odyssey Metal X7. I stopped anchoring months before the ban came into play and it’s made no difference to how effective my putting is.

How did you decide on the shaft? They are recommending the wildly expensive $400 up charge TPT for broomsticks

Is the stock shaft stable enough? Or should i Get the LA or another?
In the long putter, the minimum shaft is the accra which is good. I'm loving their premium tpt shaft. As good as la.
LAB people say do not have left elbow pointing down the line.
It's very individual. Adam Scott does it. Works noticably better for me as well. Bottom line is that you do what works. 👍

Use your driver as a start to see what's comfortable
Ok thanks
