The day I saw Vinland Saga that day my heart belonged to it, like the story, the character depth, the character growth it all was sooo good! It has so much depth, so many layers to explore!! Who get more mature. Who understand what they did and what they have to do. Literally the second arc is just as good if not even better than the first one. And what happens right now is so so good.
@@matrixstone8336 has nothing to do with liking more action etc. I really enjoy his style of writing, but everything that follows the end of Season 1 and Askeladd's death just rehashes the same points. It doesn't add many new lessons or stories, just sort of recycles the same stoic philosophies, which imo there was no greater moment in the series that drove home those points than Askeladd's death. Are there some cool things, sure. Canute's development is neat, as well as Thorfinn's pacifism etc. But imo the author glorifies pacifism too much, and didn't properly integrate the lessons of Thors and Askeladd into something greater within Thorfinn. He chose to resurrect the dead philosophy of the Thors, and for that it's missing something. He's a man that, subconsciously, probably mixed his own father up with god.
Life is a battleground for ideals. Our words have weight but only if we're willing to put our fist behind them. Wisdom becomes meaningless if you aren't willing to put your strength behind it. Many things to live for, hardly anything worth dying for.
and now i relise other anime show us superpowers,heroes,friends, and betrayal. but vinland saga show us more that that it show us how twisted this world can be

Season 1 is a masterpiece. The manga that follows isn’t as good. Should’ve ended at Askeladds death.
