loved the forest studies with magic pencils and the portrait studies before! as for the new sketchbook it is ofc up to you to decide which works the best, for me though the last one seems the most interesting, since it has a fancy texture to it (but i am also a fan of ivory and vintage so i might be playing up to favorites haha)

    Evening 👋
1- A fairy in a candy store is one of the cutest ideas I've ever heard. Amazing 10/10
2- The first person who comes to mind with a "delicate" face that would make good angry expressions is Eliot Page. He has pretty expressive eyes and a hard set jaw and thicker eyebrows. He might be a good reference for that sort of thing.
3- I tend to number only my main sketchbooks and give the extra ones a title or a purpose. Like I'll call it a masterstudy sketchbook or a background sketchbook and make it have a job.
4-The 7" book is adorable with the goat on it. However you should use whichever one you think you'd have the most fun with right now. If you're unsure you could do a little drawing in the back of each to feel them out.

I'm glad you like the candy fairy, i should probably name him at some point...
As for face references, Eliot is definitely a good example, but I'm specifically looking for black guys, as the character i need them for is black, queue the sad artist noises...

U should consider having multiple sketch books at one time to work on. Surely, keep one to do random creative ideas but also try to consider keeping separate sketch books based on the theme/type of sketching....as in one which is specifically for human anatomy/portrait/character design related sketches and another for the nature/architecture/abstract/perspective etc based on ur mindset.Think about it. My specialisation in Fine arts was sculpture hence i've had the habit of having a separate sketchbook for human anatomy & portrait related stuff & others for other themes/subjects as this habit was ingrained into me by my mentors during college....this way the subject/theme of the sketchbook becomes a progressive study as u fill it over time(especially human anatomy related art). Loved the video. Take care and best of luck ❤

The thing is.... i do! If i divided things anymore I'd be buried alive!😅
I have a main sketchbook, an anatomy practice sketchbook for bulk practice, two watercolor sketchbooks, a sketchbook just for final sketches for paintings, a nsfw sketchbook to make tours easier, and the GIANT sketchbook.
Oh, and two others for specific long term projects.
Now that I've written all that out i might already be drowning in sketchbooks...
      Edit: spelling

Oh, I love the roman rainbow fairy, but also love a lot of other stuff too, the statues were marvellous!
About the wwf recycled paper sketchbook, I have been wondering how can one be sure it's acid free if it is recycled? And the fanciest of all fancy sketchbook, is it really signed by the binder? In 1995?! I would be so scared to use that, but I say go for it. You could also number the large sketchbook as 13,5?
    Great video, enjoyed

I assume they just treat it the way they treat any paper to de-acidify it, or maybe its made from recycled paper that is already acid free, like offcuts from making new paper sketchbooks.
Yes, as far as i know that is the actual binder signature ^w^ its pretty fabulous isn't it?
I'm glad you enjoyed the art❤
