Cuba has two blockades: one internal, that of the Cuban government against the Cuban people, and the other, that of the US government against Cuba. The majority of the American people support lifting the embargo on Cuba, including Republicans from other states and Democrats. The embargo on Cuba does not affect the Cuban government, they have everything. The embargo on Cuba only hurts the Cuban people, so it would be good to lift that embargo so that the life of the Cuban people in Cuba would be a little better. The US embargo is full of rubbish and useless, but the US government pretends that it is against Cuba, but still does a little business with them, which Cuba, including elite Cuban exiles such as travel agencies, also do business with Cuba. It has two blockades, one internal by the Cuban government against the Cuban people, the other, the US government against Cuba. Even countries around the world, and also foreign sanctions and other countries involved, influence, etc. It is the problem of the country of Cuba which includes corruption, mismanagement, shortage of food and medicine, lack of infrastructure, high crime rates which the Cuban government does not talk about, deny or show data to the UN, other problems are suicide rates, inflation and drug overdoses. The Cuban embargo and sanctions do not affect the Cuban government, the military and ministers only affect and harm the Cuban people.Cuba is a dictatorship y,all people have no idea what it’s like to live in a dictatorship. In United States both Indigenous,Black,Hispanics,Asians,Roma,Jews and White Americans are very ignorant and selfish people. @@РафаэльСаркисянц-ъ2т The Cuban government has never been more than a half-hearted attempt at socialism. Don't believe what it tells the world - nor the lies that the Cuban émigrés, the US government and its allies say about it. See this:
"While the economic embargo, or blockade, imposed by US imperialism following the Cuban Revolution has been the most significant factor in the protracted economic crisis, the Cuban government, from the Castro era to today, has carried out a domestic and foreign policy which has left the country in a blind alley.
Flowing from the petty-bourgeois class character of the regime brought to power by the 1959 revolution and its long subordination to the peaceful coexistence doctrine of the Moscow Stalinist bureaucracy, the Cuban government has for decades sought to reach some form of accommodation with American imperialism, which the latter has had no interest in granting. The whole experience of Cuba since the 1959 revolution has been a confirmation in the negative of Trotsky’s theory of permanent revolution. The only solution to Cuba’s economic crisis is a revolution in the advanced countries, particularly the US, but the Cuban Communist Party, has been a negative factor in the development of revolutionary leadership in the region, as the development of a revolutionary movement would be a danger to itself and complicate the regime’s attempts to carry out a rapprochement with Washington."

  • @luisdavidllense2293

In the US, those who are the most ardently in favor of keeping the embargo on Cuba going are Cuban immigrants, themselves. And they mostly reside in Florida, reaping the benefits provided under the Cuban Adjustment Act. They live in subsidized paradise while turning their backs to their island home, left abandoned in its miserable squalor caused by the very sanctions that Cuban immigrants use as an excuse to declare their hardships upon entering the US. The funniest thing is that they blame it all on socialism while they happily take public funds without complaining once they're inside the US. I'm glad this vicious cycle was covered by the Vice Minister. Excellent sit-down. Thank you, Breakthrough!
