Project title: What Do I Do (but without the question mark because filenames don't allow them 😭) Given the importance of this track, I wrote everything until the drop at the piano before producing anything. I knew exactly what I wanted it to sound like and I was afraid I wasn't going to be able to get the emotion across. I needed help. That's when I wrote a long message to my friend Paramiere, who was instantly down to create an amazing orchestral intro for me. He also supplied me with some of the nastiest bass samples, which I then processed further to create one cohesive absolutely distorted halftime dubstep experience. Fun fact: The first drop initially didn't have halftime drums. It just started with a fakeout! After receiving really helpful feedback from Sekai like on all EP songs (absolutely love you dude 💙) indicating that I was holding back too much energy since everything just felt like a fakeout, I went the opposite way and rearranged the whole drums to be even more stompy and punchy, but used more sparsely to communicate it's not meant to fake out the listener, but give in to a really slow flow instead! I want to acknowledge, this tune was finished *before* Barely Alive & Kompany - T.O.A.D. came out! 😄
soundcloud randomly recommended me your song i let inertia win, and damn i was impressed, now i see your new music and im even MORE impressed, youre an amazing artist
