I love Tretch's underdog vibes. And his voice acting is great! It's strange that the clan known for powerful stormvermin, to the point where the Deathvermin make regular stormies look like sissies, is led by what is essentially a jumped-up clanrat. One can see the disconnect in campaigns as well, where Tretch is all about ambushes and flanking but his clan pushes heavy and relatively slow (for Skaven) infantry the most. That's not to say Tretch isn't powerful, because he is. I think some of the animus towards him came from the fact that he isn't Thanquol, but very similar. People wanted Thanquol; they got a super-lucky backstabbing rat who always wiggles out of lethal situations, but it wasn't Big T.
I like him because he is THE SKAVENEST character out of all the characters now in Total War. It's just fun to play the "regular-joe" who doesn't have a mutated-regenerative body, a genius inventor mind, ridiculous skills of assassination, an aura of such filth that it makes everything go to shit, or so much savagery that you collect heads on your back. Tretch got no overpowered shit, all he gotta have is cunning, love the underdog character.
Nice! Just one correction; a member of the Council of 13 is never 'not doing anything' simply keeping their position is absolutely a full time job. Still though, great information and always love actual-rats-representing-Skaven the juxtaposition is hilarious XD
Clan Rictus also owns one of the tunnels that lead to the chaos waste. Meaning that everytime a skaven clan wants to go to the chaos waste to captyre beasts for the pits of clan moulder, dig for warpstone and so on, they have to pay a hefty fine for passing through clan rictus’s territory. Which is why clan rictus was able to sustain themself even after almost bankruptcy to their clan.
Great video. First time coming across your channel. As someone who watches 8 hours of TH-cam a day, this is better than a lot of creators with thousands of subs. Here’s some stuff I’d recommend: First off, topic and thumbnail is perfect. I clicked on the video because of thumbnail…there aren’t many great comedy 40k-tubers besides Pancreas so definitely keep being funny and choosing topics where you can pick maybe 2-4 talking points for 3-5 min video. 3-5 min videos do well, and 12-20+ minute videos do well, but the space in between is where I see viewer drop off, not surprising that people either like quick ones, or long ones where they can get invested or have it in in the background. Personal things I’d maybe experiment with are the speed and timing vs. amount of info included. It’s tempting to fit as much as you can in a video, and it might make sense at first because more content = happier viewers, but there were times where I could tell you had so much to say on a limited time, that you went so quickly and I couldn’t really pick up what you were saying. You have a good TH-cam voice, I’d say cut out maybe 10-15% of info In the script you think the viewer can live without, then slow down the speech by the same amount. I noticed that when you begin to introduce a large amount of context/info, you speed your voice up. Try going the opposite direction, and slowing it down. That lets the viewer digest the new info you’re introducing to them, as well as getting the viewer accustomed to not only your voice, but the rhythm of your voice (which is something that goes way underrated when talking about relatability in content creators). Also when speaking more cautiously (speed wise) about something, you are letting the person listening/watching know that you have a good grasp on what you are talking about. Slow and steady speech will always seem more confident and collected than speaking quickly. I honestly think if you made just a few little tweaks to how you present, this could go from a great channel to a big channel, so keep it up.

Insight about vid length is on point. I watch 5-10 min or 30+ min in my case. I like to listen to long lore vids when falling asleep and shorter ones in my free time
You are not playing him right if you rely upon his stats as just like in lore... You rely upon his luck. If he die-die then obviously it was due to another jealous skaven hidden in your army who made you fail.
Great video, blur slow down a bit when talking, it can still be fast paced but we need to be able to hear what you’re saying, alternatively ennuciate more distinctly as some of the words blend together, you got a great voice for it though

I don't get why CA didn't make the actual leaders of the clans in the game? why instead of the leaders we get their Lieutenants, like nurglitch and skrolk for example, i don't get it.
My guess is their reasoning is that the leaders are too busy in Skavenblight but I know at least Nurglitch was actively out doing other things. He even had a tabletop model! There are some nice mods that add some of the actual leaders if you're interested.
