Top loader washing machines dont accumulate the "stink" I've had both and I prefer top loading machines.

I’ve had the older style and I’ve never had any things that need to be cleaned like this. Looks to me like really bad design if it requires that much cleaning. I will stick with the top loading until they solve some of these obvious design problems.

I leave the door a little bit open after washing a load, that ensures it dries completely and there is no foul smell

Agreed. Top loaders are just easier to me.

I switched to Samsung front loaders from Samsung top loaders about a year and a half ago. I've not had any issues with smell.
I devote an entire day to laundry. Once I'm done with all the laundry, I clean the seal and get any hair out. I then use the self clean option and always leave the door open once it's done. I do the same thing after I wash something super stinky (dog bedding etc).
I use Tide pods, no fabric softener, and Lysol Laundry Sanitizer (I use one of the snuggle balls for this) or bleach (whichever is appropriate).
My kids do their laundry throughout the week.

I just use 96% alcohol in a spray bottle, together with a micro fiber rag it cleans and sanitizes everything and your mirrors don’t streak

It's New Year's Day and here I sit happily with my coffee watching you. Your videos are so satisfying and I ALWAYS learn so much. We have 3 ceiling fans, THE SAME washer and dryer (so that was super helpful) and cleaning it right when I finish this coffee ;) and the walls...you CHANGED MY LIFE with Windex tbh! The Swiffer fan-blade cleaner is a game changer and my husband is 6'3" so he just does it, no worries. Fuzzy sock and essential oils is a game changer Yay! Love bergamot! like oranges in Tuscany. Anyway, I also find it so much easier to trust your reviews because they are not paid. I mean, promoting a product is not an issue for me, but not BEFORE the trial...so I really really trust and appreciate that. YOU are my only cleaning channel now :) HAPPY NEW YEAR to you and yours.

I very much appreciate you highlighting products safe for septic. Having a septic tank for the first time ever, i have changed cleaning styles. Examples i dont use bleach anymore. Hydrochloric acid & hydrogen peroxide as well as a HIGH acidity vinegar. Lots of essential oils & distilled water. Better health has come from these changes too!

If you have ever thrown up in the toilet ..that is hydrochloric acid ..just like the toilet bowl cleaners.the small amount you add to a septic tank isnt likely to destroy the entire bacterial ecosystem in the tank.each elimination down the toilet contains BILLIONS of bacteria!vinegar is a weak organic acid..and its ph is not very acidic.its a great replacement for fabric softener in the laundry as it breaks up the detergent particles.i have added it to my laundry for 30 years. Bleach is not a cleaner..it is a disinfectant.after cleaning with soap or a surfactant cleaner..diluted bleach for 10 mins on a surface will kill bacteria and viruses and will not leave a lasting residue..it breaks down quickly.i have had septic for over 50 years!

I use an old pillowcase to clean fan blades!! Works great and no dust to clean up all over the room!! After wiping blades down with pillow case I take damp rag with surface cleaner on them. Then shake pillowcase outside and wash then was & put away for next time. Quick & easy & virtually no clean up.

I love your videos you have good cleaning idea's and your organization tips. The only problem I have and I'm sure many of your viewers with Fibromyalgia and other severe chronic pain conditions can't move all the ways you do to clean. Like being on your hands and knees for cleaning floorboards and the lower walls. Also many of use can't use toxic cleaners that have fragrances. Could you do a few video's with us in mind. Love that your always so happy and positive. Many of us sit at home depressed and in a lot of pain and your videos are very fun.

Just a thought when you are cleaning the mold in the washer with that sprayer device and the mold is getting airborne you should wear a mask and maybe googles so as not to breathe in the mold. Mold ingested can be very bad for you. I love your slippers. I have the same ones

Cif used to be called Jif … don’t know why they changed the name, but it’s been around since the early 1900’s, I had an original container from my grandma, until a friend ‘helped’ my clean my kitchen, threw out a lot of antique stuff, but I digress. Cif (Jif) has been a mainstay in Australiafor about 100 years, it used to be a running joke, that if you didn’t have any Jif, you didn’t clean properly. A friend got almost 50 bottles of Jif for her wedding, as a well meaning joke about her cleanin* habits.

Hello Andre & husband - camera person, I just ordered the CLIC cleaning cream, and the shower hose sprayer thing. Both are something I need. OMG it was like you were talking right to me with these products today. I am so sick of water splashing back at me and running down my arm when I try to rinse the shower. It's a glass enclosed 1 and I get soaked. I'm going to compare the Bar Keepers Friend to the new cream cleanser. Bar Keepers Friend has a strong smell. I have used it for years though. Thanks for the useful tips and products you always show us. Have a good weekend. (in 1 more day)😊😊

When I was young (50 years ago ish) I was in a 4-H horse program. I used Mrs. Stewarts bluing on my horses white socks to get them all white (or appear whiter) for fitting and showing. It had been around for decades before I used it. So I don’t think Mrs. Stewart is writing instructions any longer! I think it was even used on hair to make it appear whiter. And it has always been a great laundry tool.

To have STINK never to appear just run your washing machine on its hottest cycle once a week. Maybe for your whites? They stay white without other stuff and I like to run my microfiber cleaning rags on the hottest setting. P.S. only put whites in a load no other colours.

  • @MsAdalat
    @MsAdalat 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

Keep life simple with 2 products. Dawn dish spray cleans everything. You can use half box of dye remover along with your detergent on your whites to remove any & all stains and discoloration. FYI, top load machines never have oder. Front load has been known to have that issue. It’s also extremely dangerous if you have young children.

I have an older Shark Navigator Pro and my husband was given an almost-new Dyson from a friend whose wife didn't like it even though they had paid quite a pretty penny for it. When he brought it home, we decided to see which of our vacuums had the most suction power and did the best job on our carpet. We first emptied both vacuum's dirt containers, then did a suction test with our hands on the end of the hose - the suction felt the same. Next, we vacuumed one section of carpet with the Shark and went over it again with the Dyson - there was virtually nothing in the Dyson's dirt container - good job, Shark! Then we re-emptied both vacuum's dirt containers and vacuumed a different carpet section with the Dyson and went over it again with the Shark - there was a pretty noticeable amount of dirt in the Shark's dirt container! Without question, my Shark came in as #1. My husband was shocked and surprised! I'd told him for years that I loved my Shark vacuum and this little test we did together convinced him it was the best of the two vacuums.

I used to do spoonerisms all the time, inflammation, I take LDN and that helped me stop mixing words but sometimes I still do, it’s a toin coss. Lol

Sorry , I don’t understand why your washing machine smells , I got my front loader second hand and have only left the door open between washes , I use a microfibre just to wipe the seal as I have a dog that suffers from stress and anxiety and she looses hair .

Perhaps it’s the frequency that we do laundry as a larger family and anytime there is moisture and dark spaces bacteria will be there…

I absolutely love that Shark vacuum, too! We have 2 dogs and a cat. It's the best one we've ever had for pet hair. I'm always amazed at how much hair it picks up even though our house is quite clean.
