LG thermostat. Removing the HL (hard lock)

Shawn guids us through removing the hardlock on the LG thermostat. Sometimes the thermostat can go into hardlock if someone held down the wrong buttons for too long or possibly if the outdoor unit had any work done to it recently. Either way this is a quick breakdown of buttons to press on the thermostat to remove the HL code so you can regain full functionality of your heating and cooling system.

worked! my version has fewer options, like no clock, but the principle is the same: override by holding down oper-mode 3 secs

Thank you. I was so cold. Somehow the cooling at work became like 61 and I didn’t know how to fix it. This location has no one and the owner ignores it. Finally I won’t freeze to death. And maybe her bill will go down. Lol

My man, sorry to say, but your hard lock didnt really went away as well. But yes this is big pain in the butt and worst thermostat i have ever encountered with.

Hi again, we manage to directly conect the thermostats to the lg multiv roof hvac system... thing is we're missing 1 thermostar, so, is there a way to bridge the cables of the thermostat controll and make the unit work?? or does it really need the signal from the smart thermostat??

Hello, nice tutorial i subscribed When i press my ''OPER MODE'' to change from cooling mode in heat mode the icon dont seem to change and cannot unstuck from cooling mode to any other mode , why?

it does not :(( and my coworkers are faintin and sweatin, the lg guy didnt came and he said hell be here in 2 weeks, we cant handle this shit anymore, and big problem my unit is the PREMTB001 and it does not have set back button but still apppears the HL when ever i try to move the temp, also it has the wrong time set, and it is off shchedule
