Golden It looks op here because 10/10 Pyros got in a ton of swings, and Kibler had three Baron Geddons. Is it powerful? Yes, absolutely. But this much healing was a very special case. In most games, Jaina gets one Geddon trigger and zero to one Pyros hits.
the normal version of control mage on latter right now is the dumbest deck i've ever played against. it's like 60% removal spells. A.K.A. Boardclearstone i've made various versions of elemental/control mage's and it's so dumb that something so uncreative like just putting all removal spells and doomsayers has been able to keep up when i play against them. boardclears were designed as a comeback mechanic for if you fall behind, not so you can just sit back and play removal all day so that, against the majority of architypes that are minion based decks, nothing they do matters.
Your salt is hilariously misplaced. Control mage is definitely strong, but it owes its existence to murloc pally and spiteful/inner fire priest. It doesn't do well against tempo mage or cubelock, which are extremely prevalent on ladder. It has a reasonable skill ceiling, doesn't run people over in 3 turns and is fun to play. Go play Wild if you are so concerned with control mage. Have fun getting run over by giant lock and dude pally.
Strongside i didny say it was top tier. its just incredibly stupid. nothing but removal. its like the polar opposite of aggro were all they do is go face. all this deck does is remove. just as stupid. kiblers deck is cool. it has a variety of things going on. the opponents deck is boring. so yes im worried because it one of those decks that has really good matchups and really bad ones which i dont find healthy when the match is decided when it starts. and the amount of board clears both mage and warlock have right now, in a minion based game, is absurd.
