Thank you for this review! Please tell if it's a die-cast model or a plastic? It's still not clear if that chrome parts are indeed metal or just a a chrome on top of the plastic. Thank you.
Hi thanks for the comment this AUTOart Signature Model is a Diecast model the whole model itself is made from Diecast metal there are a few plastic parts to it but the chrome I believe is aluminium polished please subscribe for more videos to come soon thanks 👍

Awesome video, Looking to buy one of these soon - Only thing that worries me is the chrome really, looks like its very easily damaged.
Yes you have to look after these types of models like keeping them out of sunlight or bright spotlights to avoid the chrome fading but I’ve had mine for years and has held up well 👍
@HNK’s Model Car Collection Yeah thanks 👍 Tell you what might be a good video idea (maybe not) a diecast model cleaning guide. Techniques and good items for it etc as there are some very bad ways of doing it..

Currently debating between this Pur Sang version or a red L’Edition Centenaire. The Centenaire is about $100 USD more but I think the red makes it pop a bit more and it’s a limited edition. I’ve heard concerns about the cast aluminum body oxidizing or losing its shine over time. Have you had this issue on your Veyron’s?
Hi Dylan thanks for the comment yes this was one of my concerns regarding both the cast aluminum models I’ve had these models now for around 6-7 years and they have held up well no rashes or oxidizing I think you definitely need to keep them out of direct sunlight or bright spot lights to help preserve the paint and that helps - I would go for the red L’Edition there rarer and harder to find on eBay I think you come across one for a decent price it’s a good buy to get thanks 👍
Thanks HNK, I think I will go with the L'Edition. I am not a huge fan of the Veyron but your videos on this model have convinced me. The craftsmanship on this model was enough to sway me into purchasing one for the collection.

This isnt chrome! It is made of polished cast Aluminium and is the reason why it was the most expensive at launch although interestingly probably the least popular and slowest selling. For me, the unique construction process alone makes this one of Autoarts most special models ever and highly worth collecting.

@@CarsWithHNK No probs my man. While the Al construction means these will never experience rash, the finish is raw and over time you can get oxidation spots which doesnt just wipe off, you need to use a compound abrasive to remove. Its a good idea to wax these as early as possible to avoid the oxidation happening in the first place.
