Board to Death : Yoshimitsu Taki (ENVY, 9mm Parabellum Bullet)

Yoshimitsu Taki has many projects outside of his own band, 9mm Parabellum Bullet. He's notable for his versatile sound creation and performances. He designs and makes pedals as a hobby therefore his knowledge about pedals is impeccable. At envy's EQD Session he selected his preferred pedals as though he was sure they would fit the vibe of those songs during the sound check.
Envy creates a wall of guitars with original member Nobukata Kawai and yOshi. His role is to cover the upper guitar range that weaves within the other tones created by his bandmates. He chose the Hoof for a hard distortion and Sea Machine for sharp modulation with a short delay that goes beyond just a chorus sound. He also selected the Ghost Echo's pre-delay function, which attacks you with a sudden big wave, that plays a big role in the ambient feeling of this session.
