Yes - star anchorage would be great. How about a mini series or special on anchorages in the Solent. I used to keep a boat in Plymouth where I was spoilt for choice. I need some local knowledge to find them in the Solent. Great videos thanks for the effort.

    Yipee !! New episode
Fire made, wine opened and glass poured...
So here we are... Watching your latest adventures to Alum bay, reminiscing on our trip there earlier in the year, and stop off at The Hut ( agree fabulous seafood!!). We walked along totland bay to the Waterfront bar too and will visit there next time.
.... when Mrs Acuity nearly spilled her wine ...
...hahaha yep early night tonight !! ;)
    I will let Mrs A explain .....
Ps. I swear by HG Mould spray for removing aglae off everything. I use it on the canopies, side decks .. everywhere .. spray then leave 20 mins and the algae is gone, then wash it away.
Thanks for the fabuolus videos, very entertaining and a joy to watch.

Haha well that looked more like my kind of weather chaps. Not a bad Anchorage that. I remember as a kid going there and you could get a glass test tube a d cork and then clamber all over the cliffs filling your test tube with different coloured sand. Not any more though. The meal looked scrummy so hats off to you for that. Do you think you will give up on going to pubs now you have discovered cooking? The gathering of subscribers in 2021 sounds a great idea but I’m guessing I won’t get an invite given my penchant for bad weather😩. I am comforted by the mention of other subscribers who, like Gary, can take some of the flak. You keep mentioning sending clips or photos but not sure we know your email address. More than happy to send you some spam or is it chorizo lol. Those flies were horrid, shocking sight. Sad my attempt to post a video was such a disaster but hopefully when I next get out I can do a small clip just to show you how crap it is when I go out.... Anyway chaps, keep sailing on. I might be aboard my vessel for Christmas due to personal circumstances but we will see. Second the shout out to Just About Sailing the guy is a trooper and posts some extremely helpful videos. G'day Dave X2 From that you will pick up that I'm not a Brit.
Anyway , I have something for yous
      The Hamble gets a mention
Out sailing last week and the topic of books came up.
I reeled off Slocum, Chichester, Lewis and so on.
Then novels like 3000 pages of Patrick O'Brian, Alexander Kent and Luke Rhinehart's Long Voyage Back.
My Canadian crew, Lorne, then mentioned Trustee from the Toolroom.
      What? Says I.
Nevil Shute's last book which was published after he died and went right under the radar.
      Nevil Shute?
      en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nevil_Shute
      Quite a C.V.
Flying, War experiences, aeronautical design and what not, but no mention of sailing.
I will not tell you the scenario of Trustee from the Toolroom.
Just that you must read it. I am making it my mission to introduce as many sailors as I can to this (free) book.
Download from here in a variety of formats and please get back to me with your opinions.

How to remove stubborn green litchen forming on your fittings.
It's a simple well proven solution which was originally developed in the Vietnam war.
The setup and process is alarmingly simple.
    Napalm and kerosene flame throwers.
I have absolutely no worries recommending this cure, promising it will also cure the fly problem too!
Very few people i know, who have ever taken this advise, ever came back to say it didn't work.
I am told it works on all hull types but especially good on old classic wooden pilot cutters.
