I'm so glad that I found this song. You have captured a very emotional, trying, dark, but strong time in my life. When I got sober... I literally had to find something that meant everything to me. The only other thing that ever got me high is a song that transferrs me to a place where I reflect the good/bad. There are not many artists that can actually do that, but.... You have nailed it with this album. I am so greatful to have found this! 💯❤️🥰
I'm about to lose my parents, my 16 year old cat, my career of 25 years (ai is taking my clients daily). Your comment somehow resonated with me. Probably because I'm an addict also (congrats on getting sober) and about to face some of my life's biggest challenges yet I can't seem to find that something that means everything to me. I'd like to think that "something" will actually be "someone" but i'm starting to lose faith in "everything", including myself. 😞
@@chrissalg9681 Don't give up hope, and don't give up on yourself. Its cliche to say that you have to love yourself first, but you just have to continually wake up & continue to choose yourself. A huge part of my transformation was letting go, accepting what is, and letting God. Reality hits, and you can't go back, but you can make a different choice moving forward. Addiction took a huge chunk of my life. I lost everything including my children. I never imagined digging myself out of the hole I had done. Especially mentally. Im living proof that living sober is possible. Its not easy, but its worth it. You got this! Your everything lies within. Loss, death, and grief are heavy hitters emotionally. They are all part of this crazy thing we call life. Prepare yourself for these times. Get grounded in a belief that they will be going to a better place. When 1 door closes in life; another opens, and work is work. Keep yourself healthy to be able to further your skills, and I guarantee there is something better for you out there. Hang in there! Life is tough, but so are you!
