As a Vegetarian and Animal Rights Activist, DONT listen to her. I try my best to educate people appropriately, but I’m not gonna hate on people or harass organizations to change their menu/diet. I care about animals, but I care about respecting people more. Don’t disrespect people’s religion or appearance in order to validate your opinions!
Being vegetarian is a great step but you’re still contributing to animal suffering by buying dairy and eggs! Not trying to attack at all but I wish I had known earlier that I was still contributing to so much suffering. In the dairy industry a cow has to be impregnated to produce milk. This means her calf is taken from her in the first 24 hours so we can take her milk instead. The male calf’s are useless to the industry and are sent straight to slaughter. Once a dairy cow stops producing milk (about 5 years old when they can live to 20 years old) she is sent to slaughter and they make up about 50% of beef. In the egg industry male chicks are seen as by-product and are ground up alive on their first day of life. Once hens stop laying eggs (about 2 years old) they are also slaughtered. Again, not trying to have a go but thought it was something you would want to know as your morals are clearly in the right place :) x
I'm not vegan or vegetarian by like any means, I just wish the animals were treated right. And don't suffer, cause I'd rather just have them be treated nicely instead of tortured.

It’s narrated by Joaquin Phoenix and shows the RSPCA approved standard legal practices. It can be hard to watch but it’s definitely important to know where your food is coming from, even if you choose to continue eating animal products. 💚

I just want to say that as a half black POC who’s experienced violent racism within my own family AND as a victim of sexual assault, her comparisons are not incorrect. It actually hurts me to see humans saying that it’s not as bad when it happens to animals BECAUSE they’re animals. What happened to me happened BECAUSE of who I am. It’s discrimination regardless of who of the victim’s appearance or level of intelligence. As for the “hate speech” about other religions... I just can’t understand this. How is it hateful to say “hey, please don’t kill and eat animals”, but not hateful to actually kill and eat animals. Many religions and cultures forbid the people within them from doing things that many of us have come to accept (ie. being gay or entering interracial relationships) and we acknowledge that practices such as public executions as punishment are wrong, so why are we still saying that THIS particular tradition is untouchable when we know that horrific violence is needed to keep it going?
People like this are also very ableist, I can't go on a vegan diet because my medical disorder requires a lot of things in my diet, it's not easy like she claims it is

My biggest issue is when someone things EVERYONE should be vegan. Allergies and health conditions exist. My friend has a disease, which I can't spell, but she can't have high amounts of fiber. She can't be vegan. Some people have IBS, some people are allergic to sucrose. And my biggest objection: food deserts. In America some people's only source of food is fast food or gas stations. We should solve that issue before guilting someone into living on expensive gas station bananas, or rice and beans from the dollar store. Poor people or people in food deserts deserve variety.
I am one of those people who have IBS. I get diarrhoea when I eat salad. Recently I found out I am allergic to certain fruits. I can't rely on plant based diet, hence why I can't be vegan.
I have an issue where I need to eat a lot of sodium to raise my blood pressure and just in general consume more but vegan diets are usually low in sodium and I am allergic to 2 vegan foods that actually are high in sodium which would make it difficult to reach the 5000 mg of sodium daily I need especially without spending too much. I am also recommended to limit my carbohydrate intake which plant diets are rich in, and cutting carbs out has actually helped my symptoms a lot so vegan diet would reintroduce that. (Also, carbs from gluten have been shown to worsen symptoms so too much of that isn't a great idea). A low histamine diet also helps with the condition which is another thing vegan diets aren't good with. My condition can also cause stomach/digestion issues which may make a vegan diet more difficult with the inflammatory foods. All of this leaves very few options and greatly restricts my diet (while still needing to get all of that sodium daily). I know people with my condition who tried to go vegan and felt really bad reintroducing steak and fish because a vegan diet majorly worsens symptoms, I tried it for a few weeks and ended up passing out just from getting out of bed in the morning. Just assuming everyone is able to go vegan is stupid.
Does she realize how hard it is to just randomly transition away or give up their religion? First of all they won't do that for you, let them be them. Second of all some people's lives are based around what they believe in, don't tell them to just lose a part of themselves

We stand for BLM and we're against any kind of discrimination in this world. Dogs are actually capable of eating everything so it's totally fine to feed them a vegan diet without them having any sort of problem. Cats on the other hand are solely carnivores. so you can feed your dog with only vegan food which is okay, but if you do it with your cat, it's actually animal abuse.
The thing is, she actually is not doing anything to protect animals with these videos. Asking KFC to make a completely vegan menu is delusional and will never happen. She could do research on the conditions the chickens are kept in and try to make them more humane and encourage her fans to do the same.

Extraordinary Gamer_123 ABC actually they do eat grass, not because they like it but because when they feel incredibly sick to the point where they don’t want to eat anything they eat grass instead but it’s not healthy for them and seems to only be a placeholder for other foods and is used as something that temporarily stops their sickness.

I care about animals, but I care about respecting people more. Don’t disrespect people’s religion or appearance in order to validate your opinions!
Being vegetarian is a great step but you’re still contributing to animal suffering by buying dairy and eggs! Not trying to attack at all but I wish I had known earlier that I was still contributing to so much suffering. In the dairy industry a cow has to be impregnated to produce milk. This means her calf is taken from her in the first 24 hours so we can take her milk instead. The male calf’s are useless to the industry and are sent straight to slaughter. Once a dairy cow stops producing milk (about 5 years old when they can live to 20 years old) she is sent to slaughter and they make up about 50% of beef. In the egg industry male chicks are seen as by-product and are ground up alive on their first day of life. Once hens stop laying eggs (about 2 years old) they are also slaughtered. Again, not trying to have a go but thought it was something you would want to know as your morals are clearly in the right place :) x

I just want to say that as a half black POC who’s experienced violent racism within my own family AND as a victim of sexual assault, her comparisons are not incorrect. It actually hurts me to see humans saying that it’s not as bad when it happens to animals BECAUSE they’re animals. What happened to me happened BECAUSE of who I am. It’s discrimination regardless of who of the victim’s appearance or level of intelligence.
As for the “hate speech” about other religions... I just can’t understand this. How is it hateful to say “hey, please don’t kill and eat animals”, but not hateful to actually kill and eat animals. Many religions and cultures forbid the people within them from doing things that many of us have come to accept (ie. being gay or entering interracial relationships) and we acknowledge that practices such as public executions as punishment are wrong, so why are we still saying that THIS particular tradition is untouchable when we know that horrific violence is needed to keep it going?
People like this are also very ableist, I can't go on a vegan diet because my medical disorder requires a lot of things in my diet, it's not easy like she claims it is

My biggest issue is when someone things EVERYONE should be vegan. Allergies and health conditions exist. My friend has a disease, which I can't spell, but she can't have high amounts of fiber. She can't be vegan. Some people have IBS, some people are allergic to sucrose. And my biggest objection: food deserts. In America some people's only source of food is fast food or gas stations. We should solve that issue before guilting someone into living on expensive gas station bananas, or rice and beans from the dollar store. Poor people or people in food deserts deserve variety.
I am one of those people who have IBS. I get diarrhoea when I eat salad. Recently I found out I am allergic to certain fruits. I can't rely on plant based diet, hence why I can't be vegan.

I have an issue where I need to eat a lot of sodium to raise my blood pressure and just in general consume more but vegan diets are usually low in sodium and I am allergic to 2 vegan foods that actually are high in sodium which would make it difficult to reach the 5000 mg of sodium daily I need especially without spending too much. I am also recommended to limit my carbohydrate intake which plant diets are rich in, and cutting carbs out has actually helped my symptoms a lot so vegan diet would reintroduce that. (Also, carbs from gluten have been shown to worsen symptoms so too much of that isn't a great idea). A low histamine diet also helps with the condition which is another thing vegan diets aren't good with. My condition can also cause stomach/digestion issues which may make a vegan diet more difficult with the inflammatory foods.
All of this leaves very few options and greatly restricts my diet (while still needing to get all of that sodium daily). I know people with my condition who tried to go vegan and felt really bad reintroducing steak and fish because a vegan diet majorly worsens symptoms, I tried it for a few weeks and ended up passing out just from getting out of bed in the morning. Just assuming everyone is able to go vegan is stupid.

Dogs are actually capable of eating everything so it's totally fine to feed them a vegan diet without them having any sort of problem. Cats on the other hand are solely carnivores. so you can feed your dog with only vegan food which is okay, but if you do it with your cat, it's actually animal abuse.

Extraordinary Gamer_123 ABC actually they do eat grass, not because they like it but because when they feel incredibly sick to the point where they don’t want to eat anything they eat grass instead but it’s not healthy for them and seems to only be a placeholder for other foods and is used as something that temporarily stops their sickness.
