My thoughts on the Amazon Fire HD 10 upgraded for 2023. Amazon did make some improvements over the 2021 model, namely adding more contrast and saturation to the display. It looks fantastic. Gaming isn't bad, and performance is overall decent for the price.

had to sell my ipad (times are tough, what can i say) and saw the current revision fire hd 10 on sale just a few days ago. this thing is no iPad, let's make that clear, but to think i can now do most of what i did on my iPad on a fire hd 10? i'm seriously impressed with how well it performs for the money. probably the most surprising and satisfying purchase i've made this year, tbh.

Im on a budget and for $80 its a steal. I don't really game on my tablets, just browse the web and consume media. Do some research, use Google maps. I plan on adding google play services and doing whatever I can to mitigate Amazons crap 😅

I just just bought the tablet from amazon and im excited it seems to been the best tablet under 300 and this one is well under 300. thing is most tablets have at least one major draw back this has 0 only minor drawbacks but at the price as albert would say "it's a no brainer'
I think the Amazon pen is USI stylus. It works with my Fire 11 tablet and my Lenovo 2 in 1 chromebook. It's a good accessory for $30.
What's the battery life like? Hear it's on an "always on" setting. Also heard it loses connection easy?
@DavidClason I am not a big pen user so mine gas been fine every time I gave used it. It uses an AAAA battery. Amazon says 6 months but I'll probably get a year or so.

I got one of these to try out vs the Gen 11 from 2021. Is it just me, or did the speaker volume decrease in the new model? It feels like I’m fighting to hear the newer 2023 model.
