I got it and converted it to an android with Google play store and I'm really happy with it.
How?
Still have my Fire HD 10 11th gen since 2022 and still happy using it even to this day
I am buying for myself. Paramount plus works and I had it on my 2021 fire tab. I have Disney plus...oh and I think Peacock works too. I think there are ways you can 'clean up' the home screen and there are videos out there that show you how to do that. With a family of 5, two in college and 1 in high school I am on a budget and for this dad this tablet fits the bill. I had the 2021 tab and loved it. Going for the 2023 release for the 'upgrades' 😊
I've just bought one with a Case. My old 10 inch Fire Tablet Died. I couldn't reset the Old Fire Tablet, so I smashed up the hard Drive and the Circuit Boards. I didn't want someone stealing my Bank Details. I could not smash the Screen with a Hammer. I was quite Impressed !!! I only Wanted Amazon Prime, Music Unlimited, TH-cam, Kindle, etc. I bought a No Adverts for £20 Extra, and I have No Adverts !!! I have the TH-cam App. I got it online using Google, so I watch TH-cam all the Time. I have Curiosity Stream and Amazon Music Unlimited. I really like this 10 inch Fire Tablet. It's much better than the Previous model which I bought Years ago, so it's nice to have a New One. I spent tens of thousands of Hours using the Old one so it has done well !!!
Mine died too, is this a coincidence? But my question: did the speakers change? I've read a few reviews, that said that the audio is quieter on the new model. Is that true?
To be fair it's s serious upgrade to an older Fire 7 so when my better half broke hers and it was on offer before Xmas for just £88.50 it was hard to resist. So gor all its limitations st the right price its good if you are used to the limitations of Fire tablets if you were stop gapping between other tablets you would be disappointed.
At least the kindle had versions where you could pay $15 more once and get rid of the ads.
That's available at time of purchase or later.
Have you noticed if you can run Tablo on this Amazon 10 inch?
Does anyone know if the new hd10 13th gen 2023 and the 9th gen (2021) are the same size and hardware? I’m planning on buying the 2023 and the old 2021 gen’s case I have is still new and would like to know if I need to buy a new case
You can sideload android apps relatively easily so it’s not completely restricted
How do I get the Fubo app?
Looking at your video on my fire 10
The lack of apps is a real bummer. It was built by Amazon for purposes of running only on the Amazon platform it would seem. Highly discouraging.
Just like all their other products. They shove their apps in your face and cannot remove them.
Why doesn't this tablet support Audible in Canada?! Isn't Audible an Amazon app?
What makes you say there’s no TH-cam? I can see TH-cam and even remember seeing Apple TV on their App Store
Side loading FTW
Good call! Yeah I agree that is a win. Average folks don’t know how to do that, but makes a ton of sense.
At least these have L1 Full HD playback, unlike Onn tablets.
Too bad these are not rootable anymore. I used to have a Fire tablet a few gens back, it was great for the price and once rooted I could install Android apk on it.
What’s rootable mean. I’m getting one next week, was hoping to put IPTV on it, is it doable??
@@pinkster0078 rootable means gaining root access. As for putting IPTV on it, you're probably fine. Also I don't have a new Fire Tablet, my last First tablet is from 2017 or 18. So I don't know if they locked it down more.
You don't need root access to side load applications.
You don't need to root it.
@@redshed2020 I do. I use apps that requires root.
TH-cam live chat does not work, Amazon blame TH-cam, TH-cam blame Amazon
How tf are you not gonna have TH-cam bro. I'll pass 😂😂😂
I’m pretty you can sideload android apps into this
Right
One thing I hate about Amazon products, all about advertising to you first. Just let me use my machine without shoving TV shows and Movies in my face on the home screen.
I paid £20 Extra and bought the No Adverts 10 inch Fire Tablet. I get No Adverts at all. Same with my Old 10 inch Fire Tablet. No Adverts for Years, until it Stopped Working after tens of thousands of Hours Use !!!!
@@spaceted3977 How does that work exactly? They have you install a completely different OS than everyone else?
@@TheMeanArena I looked up TH-cam on Google, Downloaded the App and got TH-cam straight away with no adverts. I have had 3 Amazon Fire Tablets. They don't always come loaded with All the Apps. But my Amazon App Stopped working so I looked up Amazon on Google and signed in using Silk Browser, but a couple of Years laterthe Tablet packed up. There aren't many apps on Android that don't work. The Royal Mail App will not work though. When you buy a new Amazon Fire Tablet you click on With Adverts and it changes to Without Adverts. The Price is £20 more, but it's well worth it to not have adverts. I get adverts on my phone, but not on my Amazon Fire Tablets.
@@TheMeanArena The No Ads Option puts a block on Ads with a special Download so you never get any adverts for the life of your Fire Tablet. It costs £20 when you first buy the Fire Tablet and then it's locked in that state permanently.
@@spaceted3977 So this will remove the adverts from the device that appears at the top that suggest movies and TV shows to me?
It's a cheap piece of shit tablet what if you don't use those apps
Do you not know how to sideload apps?
