Sorry if this is kind of dorky but the reason why stick foundations and liquid ones can't be compared is because they are actually different units. Stick foundations are in ounces as a measure of mass (ie weight, technically not exactly but for the reasons of this, yes), while liquid foundations are in fluid ounces which is a measure of volume. The two values are not comparable (unless you know the density of the product but that's just sillly). So you may get the same number of applications with a stick foundation as you do with a liquid. Stick foundation sizes should just be used to compare amongst stick foundations :D hope that helps make ppl feel better about buying "less" bc it's not really less :D

The hourglass one is actually more expensive than the Tom ford. with hourglass you get .25oz for $46, that would be $92 for 2 sticks (.5oz). and you get .5oz of Tom ford for $82. it makes sense to buy the hourglass if you like that one better, but if you like tom ford better or like them the same them Tom ford is actually the better deal.

Sometimes I get distracted and have to skip back/forth in the video and that would be a great marker for finding my place again, and just to catch my attention when you move on to the next product!

Rachael I never care about the breakdown. It takes so long for me to finish makeup, if ever, the breakdown is useless. It's like when people breakdown eyeshadow palettes. I have so many palettes I have never finished one. So yeah, I go by the total.
Foundation is different, though. A lot of people wear it every day. I've never seen the bottom of a blush or an eyeshadow but I have to repurchase foundation every few months.

The Lancôme is my favorite! I have never been able to find a perfect color except for with this! I'm pale with yellow undertones and shade 210 is perfect! It doesn't oxide at all, and stays put all day! I am combo skin and this formula is perfect!

I have dry/combo skin and I live in NY. I loveeeee the Wander beauty foundation stick. It works well for me during all seasons. You do have to set it though, but after that, it stays really nicely on the skin

The ABH stick is my newest favorite foundation (because I'm oily) but I'll have to try applying it with a Morphe M439 since I've been using a beauty blender! The only reason I haven't tried the Hourglass stick is because it comes with such a small amount of product and is more expensive than some others. What I really need to try though is the MUFE stick because the ultra hd foundation is amazing!

Love the hourglass foundation stick! Especially with the Dior matte primer. I went to an event yesterday and my makeup still looked like I just did it when I got home!
I like the Anastasia stick foundation. I have normal to combination skin (it's very confused lol) but before I used it, I used a day hydrating serum, primer then applied the foundation. It turned out very nice and natural looking :D especially for $25. Lasted about 8 hrs before any oils in my T-zone started to show up. That's a win in my book :) Also, I love your shirt Kathleen :D
I love how you're wondering why anyone would spend $80 on foundation 😂 Well for us Australians, if we want high end makeup, we have to cough up the money. I paid $80 for the hourglass immaculate foundation and then another $80 for the veil primer. Vanish is $67, which I also have. Too faced born this way is $57. Currency conversion sucks

Oh wow I am totally MUFE Y325 when I'm pale but I cannot compare my skin depth to yours! Y325 looks perfect only in the winter and then turns a bit ashy. Great to know that I can eyeball what a foundation shade is gonna look like on me based on how it looks on you!
I've got really oily skin and lancome stick is my favorite! It is so buildable and doesn't look cakey on my skin what so ever! it feels so light on the skin, honestly, it feels like your wearing nothing! It's a little pricey but so worth it! also I apply It with a brush and it glides on so smooth! rate it 10/10

Anyone else having trouble with the Hourglass stick on dry skin? On first try it looked super patchy, cakey, and made my face look extra flaky. Will try exfoliating before I use it next time

I'm a make up artist so I know what I'm doing, and the hourglass stick is one of the WORST foundations I've ever used on my very dry skin. My skin flakes off underneath so bad, it looks worse than sandpaper, even with exfoliating😭😭 I'm so sad, I have never found a foundation that works with my Sahara skin

The only reason I haven't tried the Hourglass stick is because it comes with such a small amount of product and is more expensive than some others. What I really need to try though is the MUFE stick because the ultra hd foundation is amazing!

TF has double the product of Hourglass. If you buy 2 Hourglass you spend more than TF.
Love the hourglass foundation stick! Especially with the Dior matte primer. I went to an event yesterday and my makeup still looked like I just did it when I got home!

I like the Anastasia stick foundation. I have normal to combination skin (it's very confused lol) but before I used it, I used a day hydrating serum, primer then applied the foundation. It turned out very nice and natural looking :D especially for $25. Lasted about 8 hrs before any oils in my T-zone started to show up. That's a win in my book :)

Well for us Australians, if we want high end makeup, we have to cough up the money. I paid $80 for the hourglass immaculate foundation and then another $80 for the veil primer. Vanish is $67, which I also have. Too faced born this way is $57. Currency conversion sucks

Oh wow I am totally MUFE Y325 when I'm pale but I cannot compare my skin depth to yours! Y325 looks perfect only in the winter and then turns a bit ashy. Great to know that I can eyeball what a foundation shade is gonna look like on me based on how it looks on you!

I've got really oily skin and lancome stick is my favorite! It is so buildable and doesn't look cakey on my skin what so ever! it feels so light on the skin, honestly, it feels like your wearing nothing! It's a little pricey but so worth it! also I apply It with a brush and it glides on so smooth! rate it 10/10

Anyone else having trouble with the Hourglass stick on dry skin? On first try it looked super patchy, cakey, and made my face look extra flaky. Will try exfoliating before I use it next time
Sara Berkebile YES. I was searching in these comments for someone to say that. I'm a make up artist so I know what I'm doing, and the hourglass stick is one of the WORST foundations I've ever used on my very dry skin. My skin flakes off underneath so bad, it looks worse than sandpaper, even with exfoliating😭😭 I'm so sad, I have never found a foundation that works with my Sahara skin
