There's actually a couple of secret cars in this game that you can only get by doing special races like for an example at the beginning of your Championship there's actually the first level you actually go and reverse and bang into the wall and the track will go into reverse and if you win first place you will win the first secret car
Rage racer 6 came out on the Xbox 360 Sony did pay exclusivity for this games but they do not own the license or the IP another game that came to Nintendo 64 was destruction Derby and Wipeout and yes in this game you could change the controls to the old classic rage racer controls

This game looks good. I never played this back in the day but I’m sure I would’ve loved it.
