What is his total portfolio and annual return till now. One to three years doesn't matter.Even the index will beat this sort of record in the long run. If this sort of returns can be maintained for 20 yrs, believe me,you will be richest person on the planet. These are highly leveraged traders ,who can outperform in the bull market and flop in the next downturn will loose everything because of huge leverage.. Dan zanger did the same stuff and made 45 millions then vanished in 2005 q. Warren buffet,Charlie Munger,ray dalio and many more became the billionaires and they do not have to sell their courses. Bill o Neil was a great learner , but his fund house failed twice. Stop loss doesn't make sense to me. If u do in out frequently, ur account will decay. Neither all the trades will be profitable nor all the investments. But nobody knows how much the stock will rise or fail, it needs a hell amount of effort to do the balance sheet analysis and then invest. But the key is to have patience and maintain perseverance. It is really tough to invest and forget. If somebody wants the adventure, he can draw 4 lines, put some momentum indicators and then start buying or selling the equities. I am aligned with Bill o Neil on the fusion of tech analysis with strong fundamentals. But one thing, I do not agree with is to buy on the breakout, it should be on the pull back. Warren buffet, read everything from John Edward magee to schabacker to rest, but the time when he read Intelligent Investor, he fell in love with his teachings. Minervini claims that he won the US investing championship for two three times, but what is his portfolio apart from his courses earning s. He won't disclose, even his VCP is simply a rising triangle,where volatility decreases and the price will burst to the least resistance per the Jesse Livermore. Warren buffet never sold a course, as he doesn't need to, since he is running a 800 billion dollar organisation. I agree with one of the things, that you have to read a lot and try everything,as time will only teach you,not somebody else. if you stay invested for a long time, you can make richest, but you have to diversify. Few of the investments will fail, but even if one or two excels and give very good return,then you will outperform. Dave is a nice guy, he doesn't insist on selling his courses but mark does with him.

What a video! I can watch this over and over again. David is a gem. A quick question: I remember a video of his, most likely @ TraderLion where David speaks about taking a 25% position at the break-out, 25% at the end of the day, and then the rest of the 50% position the next follow-thru day. Is that something you can help me locate, if it's in your channel?

What a great interview already. Big takeaway so far has been to review the group charts on the weekend to gauge the market health and what groups are setting up for big moves. Then focus on the leading stocks in those groups. Awesome take away!

Throughout the investment/trading world , there are only a handful of sincere honest professionals. David Ryan is certainly on the top of that short list. A realistic humble approach based on work , observations and simplicity. If you base everything you do going forward on his outlook. It will be very difficult to fail.

This was a good interview. It is great that TL brings on experienced traders. I am wondering, however, if he could get someone that has been a trading/investing champion recently rather than 30 years ago.
When David Ryan speaks about the Bible, I can so co-relate it with the Bhagwad Gita! I guess every holy book states so, it is just that we are so ignorant to what is right in front of us!
Like to thank both of you for spending the time for this presentation. Even as a seasoned investor I could learn or at least get confirmation on some issues and David is an excellent example of a trader and investor that can handle his success and keep his ego in check. I think these are very important qualities an investor needs to acquire if he wants to become successful in the long run.
Such a nice Interview, once again you have helped me alot! I think i finally know at what time Frame I wanna trade. I was struggeling with that so much, trying to cut out 2-3% from small daily moves, overtrading like nothing else. But right now, it seems so clear. Such a nice Interview, once again you have helped me alot! I think i finally know at what time Frame I wanna trade. I was struggeling with that so much, trying to cut out 2-3% from small daily moves, overtrading like nothing else. But right now, it seems so clear.
