Had the pleasure of seeing Karl play by invitation at the Australian Open a few years back. He's got a great game and seems to have a bit of a fan base too. Go Karl.
glad u finally upload some videos, been following u since 2014 and ur channel always been one of my favorite. glad to see you come this far (but never a doubt, though). but too bad this video lacks ur dad's comment, miss him too
Keep it going Karl, there will be days when it doesn’t go to plan. What did you learn about yourself? These days are the opportunities. Get up tomorrow and go again, better days will come because of the learning. Karl fixes some of the driver issues and gets a go-to swing off the tee, he has a real shot at a national championship. His game is crazy good for a freshman.
Pops is good thanks. I'm in Australia and we have a travel ban in place until next year, so I was ecstatic to see my boy playing on the Golf Channel as well. Cheers.
Paul, This round makes me cast my mind back to years ago where you made a point about focusing Karl's training on getting up and down and putting him in bad situations off the tee like being blocked out by trees to develop the ability to hold it together when things are going wrong. It was his ability to make the most of the situations he got himself into off the tee and scramble up and downs that saved that round. Is Karl's bad tee shot a pull or was this just an unusual round?
@@KarlGolf Paul, He has a good reputation and have heard he is good.Karl's putting is much better, I can see it ,That was important getting that right because he looked a suspect streaky putter before ,he looks like a good putter now.
I remember watching this kid when he was like 14 and now look at him. He is going places
Right!? Haha
When you got so far your dad doesnt need to film your round cause all your shots are covered by Television.
Kinda miss the comentary ngl.
Golf Channel should hire Karl's dad to do the commentary. Can't wait to see more Karl on tv 🤩
Haha. Thanks Richard but I'd be a hack next to those pros.
Cheers. Paul Vilips.
I couldn’t agree more tbh
Can’t wait to follow the dude on tour. Been a long journey

What a good showing from Karl! Can’t wait to see what to future holds for him.
Been watching since 2015, really awesome to see the progression of a young man.
Hope we can see some new videos soon! Karl continues to be an inspiration for upcoming competitive/low handicap junior golfers including myself. :)
More to come soon...
so happy for you KV! the journey continues
Normally from memory Karl was a solid driver of the ball. Cost a few strokes this day but onwards an upwards! Keep at it Mate.
Some amazing up and downs. Even on a day when things didn't go according to plan, the scrambling was exceptional. Nice going Karl!
So cool seeing him on the TV, hope to see him on the PGA tour some day :)

awesome thanks for uploading, I just want Karl to go on a birdie spree and tear the field apart maybe I am being a bit unrealistic :-)
💪🏾
Just curious what those shoes are? :D
Damn does that Cardinal red look good.
Karl has more views on his highlights than most of pga tour highlights lol
How am I late to this video
Paul, Karl's putting is a lot better. Does he do a lot of work with a putting coach? How did he go about improving it?
Hi John, good to hear from you. Karl's working with Stephen Sweeney, an Irishman based in Florida and who is also working with Joaquin Niemann.

feels weird watching karl play without the dad jokes
Is Karl actually a freshman or is he a sophomore considered a freshman athlete, because I with covid they consider everyone a year less with D3 golf.
Wow look at Karl with that red shirt resembling Tiger Woods back when he was in Stanford
What is next for Karl!?
The NCAA Regional at UNM starting tomorrow. results.golfstat.com//public/leaderboards/gsnav.cfm?pg=participants&tid=22942
