Floods displace thousands of people in Marsabit

A woman and her daughter have been killed after they were caught up in the ongoing floods wreaking havoc in Wajir and Marsabit counties. The heavy rains have cut off some roads affecting relief operations.

How do you drive with such floods aki.. This places are said to be so dry aki for sure when it rains it pours.. Now not even aid for the residents.. God protect them

Personally I just ask, when will the drivers learn that driving on flooded bridges or waters is a high risk. Even if the car or lorry is loaded heavily the fact that the wheels are full of air it will float and be carried away....the ship floats on water due to air...so drivers be patient for water to pass then cross...some are just irresponsible

Pls let us not bash the driver of the white toyota. Imagine the villages and town on the other side of the bridge depend on food supplies via that bringe. He could be carrying veges that go bad quickly.
