Not entirely agree with the new N series being mostlly disappointing. I bought the Flex and Ward and enjoyed them both. Maybe because because my expectations were low before I got them. But the Flex (being the N series Jolt) and the Ward both impressed me with their pop and also their handfeel. They were the reason I also bougt the Infinite :P . The Pinpoint however, I tought, was a bit of a disaster.
Another note about the Maulr: if they did some homework into our hobby, they would have tuned the adjustable FPS based on well established caps. Not the random numbers they're currently set at.
Very good video. I bought a Siren Maulr about two months ago. Though I wasn't happy with how hard it was to prime or the ergonomics, I loved the adjustable power and was going to keep it-until it jammed very badly and had an O-ring failure. At that point, I returned it to Target and got a refund. I recently ordered a Siren Gnarl, which was marked down to $17.50 at Target. I haven't received it yet. I hope it works out better than the Maulr. Your video gives me hope for that.
That's disappointing that you had such a poor experience with the DZ Venom. I love mine and find the rev quite intuitive. Nonetheless, I appreciate you and your videos. Keep up the great work and take care.
I watched some reviews of the blasters in the list. Maybe disagree with the Dart Zone Venom. But agree with the others. None of the others blasters got my attention in 2024. NERF just survive because it is under a big brand that can flood any market. With the ProX, I was expecting see all the classic sussesful blasters turn in half darts. For the moment the future in the market and what rules the hobby are ammo, magazines, and accesories have compatibility. If you look the market of "real" bam bams the compability and modularity works.
Agree with almost all what you said. It’s taken me considerably longer to get for example the Challenger over here (shaking fists at German customs and Walmart not letting me order it except through a forwarder). I was SO looking forward to it and it’s overall OK - but that’s it. For finally getting a Rival Stryfe it was really cheap feeling and had all these little things that just make it a medium blaster. Did not notice the incompatibility for the sender and torrent yet as I do not have angled talons but that is a serious bummer. My sender also is quite inconsistent and helicopters darts way too often. How that went through QC is concerning. The Venoms redeeming factor is better dart compatibility I would say. That alone makes it worth it for me to get that instead of a Nightingale. Other than that great recap and I like very much the idea of pointing out why a blaster is not really bad, but why it did not live up to the hype. See Sirens blasters. :) have a great new year!
The reason why the Venom's rev trigger is like that is to save space. Otherwise Dart Zone would had made an already big grip on such a small blaster even bigger
Siren buying reviewers and causing hobby drama was hilarious The Sting-shitter was so bad, I handled a V1 and I hated everything about it, the mag release is just a detent as well as the magwell being too narrow that Talon outer feedlips get caught. Kodas and Tachis inserted just fine. Blocky Grip. but as the designer said "perfect design" which is why it has a v2 in less than 3 months from v1's release. *shrug*
I was excited when I first saw Torrent. That one was a disappointment. Saved my wallet a few bucks I suppose. Venom was better than I thought it would be. Sorry yours died. I like it better than the Nightingale I ended up selling. The Nightingale is way too high pitched. It scares my dogs. Honestly I find it annoying to listen to. Mine was the 90FPS version on purpose so that it wouldn’t be too screechy. My Phoenix 2.0 has 6 motors and it’s a much lower frequency. Loud but not obnoxious. Plus it hits 160FPS and 12 Darts per second.
20:40 I'm glad you brought that up because I had the same idea for that accessory as a stock option for the Torrent/Sender.
It could have been so perfect 😭
@kingofgames234 Agreed. And to think it's their own product line. You would anticipate that kind of incompatibility from a competing company lol.
@ that’s why I said in the video that I think it was a malicious move towards the hobby. I think they did anticipate it and chose to do it anyway.
Love your takes. They are on point. Thanks.
I’m glad I’m not alone in dodging some mothership blasters even for reviews 😅. Great video!
@@notnuffnerf they didn’t make it easy this year lol
Just a quick correction... 'may-lay', not *'meeley'. Otherwise, good video bud. I agree with all your selections.
@@RedSix-Tactical very true BUT it’s also not called a “tamogatchi” mag , but if you’ve seen my reviews before… well, IYKYK 😂
@kingofgames234 agreed bud. Can't wait for the top guns video.
Dude I love the N-Series. They really seem to be good quaility plastic and I can't wait to get a second pinpoint to convert to short darts

N-series as a whole was pretty garbage, but I am glad some are so easily modified to be half dart blasters like the Sprinter.
Yeah sprinter is the best n1 blaster hands down

totally agree with you. :)
Very good video. I agree with all except the nightingale 2.0. I love my 2.0, it's such a quality product compared to the venom pro or even the 1.0.

They could have done dual stage instead ,like the nightingale, without increasing the size of the grip.

Why is the video in high speed? Kept checking my settings but they are set to normal.
@@Swineford_inc unfortunately I was having some issues exporting the video. That may have had something to do with it.
@@kingofgames234I can actually recommend .8x or .75x speed for the video to solve the issue. .85x is a bit too fast though
i agree.

The Sirens blasters was a pass, and unfortunately if you paid for them then guess what you got ripped off.
Got a maulr for $25, stuck an accu-saber on it, shooting 5" grouping consistently at 280 fps. I'd say that's a deal for $32 altogether
The only thing I don't like was their "flood" promo technique with the Nerf youtubers and they weren't ready the 1rst day to sell.
