PNR First DHL Set Finally Arrived Alabang Station (January 6, 2021)

The first DHL set successfully arrived Alabang station this day and to the excitement of our rail-fans and commuters alike welcomes this new set from PT Inka Indonesia. The test includes checking on the procedures of turning the DHL locomotive around the coaches and see how it well it can be done, so far it went well. Some footage of priority trains included. More updates soon.

Already, there are plans to replace these old, narrow gauge railroads with new, standard gauge elevated railroads (the plan started in 2010 IIRC). Though they didn't plan it to be a high speed railway (I wish they did).

It is just like the DELs and the EMUs but a different locomotive and a different coach

EMUs don't have locomotives, that's why they're called electric *multiple units* as they are powered by the coaches themselves as opposed to a single locomotive unit, although some advanced locomotives can join together and form a multiple unit (not all locomotives can form multiple units as they'll need a driver for each without the advanced remote controls).

You're right! Transportation isn't going to be improved if the infrastructure itself isn't improved. It's a waste of money buying new trains that will perform the same way the old ones do.

Hindi rin maganda ang mismong riles: hindi pantay, hindi patag at matulis pa ang mga liko. Hindi rin standard gauge yung riles, kaya mahal ang mga tren kasi kailangan nakadisenyo para sa mapangiti na riles natin; hindi compatible ang mga karaniwang tren na minsan ay mas mura pa.
