Thanks for the great video! One quick question re the multi-layer recording: I also follow the procedure to have the lip sync done with audio first, then adding other facial expression elements. However, as facial unit (e.g. jaw/mouth) movement really depends on the speech content/pace, does it mean the actor also needs to manually lip-sync the audio when recording facial expressions repetitively? (that can be a bit tough and distracting..)

You can unmask that jaw / mouth layer in Motion LIVE so as to not overlap the Acculips lip sync you already created and just use the iPhone for everything else 👍🏻

@@Oxidus thank you for the speedy comments:) Yes- this is actually my current workaround. Although even with the masking, I found I still need to speak in sync with my virtual human so the mouth/lips can look okay (otherwise it just trembles in a weird way). Additionally, the other facial action units like eyes do also link to the verbal contents too ;(. But yeps, my question is more like an open discussion, curious to see what are the options here.

What if i don't have any iPhone? Any alternative device like Android or Camera 📸?

Towards frame 20.01 youmention the auto lyosinc feature but you don;t show where it is, you also mention turning off the auto blink feature in iclone...you are assuming everyone knows where it is ..actually showing what you are referring to would make this tutorial more valuable . Would appreciate if you would clarify where these oprions are on the interface

its difficult with cartoon animations that requires quick shift of expressions and mostly require manual customized expressions, that makes it difficult relying on facial mocap only. unless someone knows a better solution 😕

I have a question. When i upload characters to unreal with certain hairstyles, the hair flies all over the place & looks wacky, is there any way to fix this? Any unchecked box I have not checked or something before importing?

Reallusion hair in Unreal just looks wired. But you can use MetaHuman hair and attach it to your characters head in Unreal.
