This is the Ingfield Light Railway, a private 10¼ miniature railway that has open days throughout the year. Its fleet is made up of scale models of real life locomotives, this choice alongside with the lovely woodland setting makes for a very pretty image!
Three locomotives were in steam, an SR King Arthur (Sir Sagramore), an LMS Royal Scot (Royal Scot) and an LNER J11 (Pom Pom). I must admit, I absolutely adored the King Arthur in its Maunsell green, definitely will try and get a model of one in future. The Royal Scot was an interesting one, brought by Ingfield in 2014 I believe, 66 years and never been run at all, all its previous owners never got round to running it, so was practically brand new when it arrived! It is an absolute rocket, free steaming and easily speeds along at express speeds. The Pom Pom was one I was curious to see, it having visited Eastleigh Lakeside Railway and South Downs, was curious to see it, was a cute lil thing which made a nice noice, apparently the J11s were nicknamed Pom Poms after a rattlegun in WW1.
Like I said before, the backdrop for the Railway is beautiful, especially with the Bluebells coming through, absolutely stunning. I'm a sucker for woodland pictures, it's what I grew up around after all.
There are two separate lines here, one that leads into an open field, done by the King Arthur, and the mainline done by none other than the Royal Scot, the shed roads were done by Pom Pom. At the end, all three came together for one final train, a tremendous finale to a great day.

Three beautiful locomotives and a beautiful railway. At Abbeydale MR we love our woodland and our bluebells, and so do our visitors!

Now that's a proper railway. Lovely engine sheds just begging you to have a look round, and an Ivatt Atlantic peeking tantalisingly out.

    Great video,
    The locomotives look great
They sound lovely pulling a full train load of passengers the setting looks lovely the prototypical building designs really set the whole thing off would that be 10 25" gauge
771 did a lovely job of "setting back" onto the rolling stock and buffering up
    "Super"
    Best wishes

It's a lovely railway! Not too sure about gauge, I'm only going off Google saying 10¼.
      Thanks for watching Andy!

Woodland scenes are for hikers, not steam engine enthusiasts. I don't do looking at scenery when steamies are running. I only look at scenery if a stinky diesel forces me to do so.

@M_ADAX I only stare at steamies.

@M_ADAX You forget, I love to stick my head out of the carriage door window upfront. I never sit down when a steamy hauls me along. Putting this to one side, I have a proposition to put by you. Fancy a piece of LMS rolling stock, meaning an LMS Maroon 4-wheeled Hornby carriage?

@M_ADAX Don't have room for it any more. It's all yours.

@M_ADAX Tell you what. I'll get the big box posted first. And then you'll get the carriage afterwards. Also, I hope you'll invite me to chat with you sometime in between. You want to see Becky in the flesh, I'm sure.
