Hi Fred thank you for always informing us.. Would you kindly do a video on areas you would recommend to lease land and probably the prices per year? Thank you
Hey Fred thanks for your videos Very educative and helpful I'm you watching from DR CONGO Very soon I will start growing onion My question is about the frequency of watering on the furrow and also if you can advise me about the size of the furrow
I have noted that your farm is near a very big River. Just curious, is there some land available for rent nearby and if Yes, where is that ? Kindly inbox
The biggest “problem “ to solve with furrow irrigation is to get the beds sloping just right. The water must not run, it must walk. But once that is sorted, it is actually very good. Don’t disturb the soil too much once you have formed the beds. When you harvest, cut the plants off just below the surface- leave the roots and directly sow or transplant the next crop. Never leave the soil open. Keep feeding the soil from the surface only. As the condition of the soil improves, you will see this furrow irrigation will become efficient in terms of water usage. Water less often, but water deeply when you do.
