this isn’t just heavy metal like your typical ozzy or judas priest this is thrash metal designed for aggression and speed. marty and dave are two brilliant guitarists who were young and had a lot to prove but this music is for people who feel the same, very inspiring in my opinion

9:00 the lead singer Dave Mustaine was the first lead guitarist for Metallica . in fact he wrote the music for 4 of the 7 songs on metallicas first Demo that got them signed . He was kicked out just before they recorded their first album and formed megadeth . Perhaps a cover will be easier to digest . Theyve covered sabbath - paranoid , alice Cooper - no more Mr nice guy , budgie - melt the ice away

the song is two songs in one. The first song is holy wars and the second is the punishment due. Holy wars is about the fighting in ireland which dave was spurred to write after unknowingly saying something controversial on tour in ireland. The second part is based off of the marvel character the punisher

@@BritPopsReact you might enjoy their later material after 1990. Not as heavy but still very good. May I recommend Sweating Bullets? Great swing groove to that tune and explores Dave's trouble with addiction and anger issues.
And to be quite Frank about it my dear gentlemen there is something to be said about continuity once you interrupt a Megadeth song it's not the same as if you had listened to it from beginning to end without interruption. But I understand people have their way of doing things and I respect that just saying though

Ahhhhhgggghhghhhhh!!!!!! Pausing got you lost and now you lost cadence with the original stir that had you enthralled....... continuity with Megadeth is penultimate importance if you had listened to it in its entirety instead of broken up you would have gotten every bit of its technical preciseness and if you just don't pause it at this point ..you will catch right back onto the horse and ride High so long as you don't stop the music.. I guarantee you if you listen to it all the way through without pausing you will hear almost a totally different song
We know. We know.... We don't want to pause it but we have to to break up copyright content so we don't use to much original content. So we do understand and sometimes after we have recorded the video we go back and listen to them back through in full, it was an eye opener and actually I think we did enjoy it lol...
