I'm Argentine, although I walked out during the penalties. I didn't want to see it. The penalty shootout makes you very , very nervous . And that's because it can go either way. No team ever wants to end the game in a penalty shootout. Remember , the shooter has to be thinking " What way should I shoot it & how ? What way can I fake the the goal keeper out etc? " . And the goal keeper is under the same pressure " What way is he gonna shoot, shout I fake him out etc? ".
