The message at the beginning of this video was for the human reviewer. It isn’t intended for the viewer. Skip to 1:49 to avoid it. If you do listen to that part, Please don’t get in the comments and want to argue about what event is more important or more horrible than 9/11. That isn’t the point I was making. I merely want TH-cam to stop blanket banning every single video made about this topic, because it is a hugely important historical event. I don’t care if you believe the holocaust was worse, or historically more important. Fine, believe that, but again that wasn’t my point. BTW, TH-cam censors videos about the holocaust too. I would have made the exact same argument if this video was about that topic. I’ve even been called “insensitive” for not naming an event from another country. What the actual…? I’m absolutely not interested in debating about this. TH-cam needs to stop demonetizing history documentaries, period. This channel, is largely an American history channel, feel free to be offended if that’s where my mind goes when I’m talking off the cuff. I don’t script anything. I don’t agonize over every word and am unlikely to start doing so. It’s actually impossible to choose correctly anyway, because the things people find to be offended by absolutely boggles the mind. So anyway, I’d appreciate you just watching the video itself which WAS in fact demonetized by TH-cam. Feel free to discuss away about the video content and if the video moves you perhaps consider sending a super thanks. Because this absolutely IS a historically important event that historians and documentary filmmakers should be able to discuss without TH-cam treating it like a taboo subject. I am proud of this video and I’m glad at least a few people get to learn about these people. Focus on them, not my use of individual words in the beginning. Thanks! I appreciate you coming to visit my channel and hope the rest of your day is amazing.

This is definitely not the only video that mentioned the people on the flights. There are plenty of videos that talk about the passengers on each flight. They play the audio of the phone calls made to 911 from the airplanes and voicemail that people left their loved ones and they talk about their bravery.

    • @a1918-b4g
      @a1918-b4g 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

@@crisssyyy_ flights 11 and 93 had a load of calls 11 most notably had the flight attendants relay info that led to finding the hijackers quickly. 93 had the most calls as people realized what was happening. Flights 77 and 175 only had a couple as people didn’t have time to realize what was happening and therefore are discussed less. 77 had a prominent persons wife onboard but besides her none of the crew or passengers really get discussed. Flight 175 had a couple people make calls but nowhere near as many as the first couple planes and by extension very few of the passengers to crew are talked about. If you look at the videos on the 9/11 flights you’ll notice it’s usually 93 or 11 being talked about or audio showcased. The other two you’d have to find flight lists and track down family members to learn more about them.

Just popping in from Melbourne, Australia, to say congratulations on a brilliant effort of research and the sensitive, moving presentation of it. I've watched and read a lot about 9/11, but just putting faces and stories to the names involved puts a whole new perspective on the tragedy. While it is obviously a sad perspective, it's also very uplifting to see the love of people for their partners, families, friends and just other human beings amidst the depravity which was the attacks. Between this and the brilliant National Geographic documentary "9/11 One Day In America", which I saw only recently, I have a far greater appreciation of the heroism, courage and decency of those involved. Thank you for your work on this. Cheers, Rohan C.

too often only particular people are named and if i were a family member i think i would be hurt by that because each life was equally important that day.

    Dear Madame, morbid,
Thank you so much for putting a face to all the victims of flight 175.
I can remember where I was on 911. I was working as a receptionist for a manufacturing firm in Markham Ontario Canada and I was just listening to the radio and it just cut out. I thought it was just that station And changed to another station but again there was just silence.
Once we found out what it happened my employer let everybody go home early.
I know that each year on the anniversary of 911 the names are red out at Ground Zero, but I am not sure if the names of the people that died on Flight 11 and flight 175 and also the plane that crashed into the pentagon are red out at ground zero.
This year will be the 23rd anniversary of 911. Every anniversary it almost feels like it just happened yesterday. I can still remember the horrific scenes of flight crash into the towers, and then flight 175 crash into the towers and then both towers just collapsing.
Rest in peace all those people that lost our lives that day.

Thank you so much for making this wonderful video! Even after all these years since 9/11, I found myself in tears listening and learning about all these people's stories.
I'm a retired police officer from LAPD Los Angeles Police Department, and I had just recently retired when 9/11 happened. It still feels as if it happened last year to me.
After watching so many 9/11 videos in the past, your video is the only one that took the time to report and detail the lives of many of the victims on the planes involved.
I'm so proud of you and of your detailed work! Kudos to you, young lady! 👏 It's finally about time that someone "you" took the initiative to show the very personal stories of these victims of 9/11.
Good luck to you, and God bless you always 🙏 😊 ❤️

I was in Boston that morning. I’m from Boston born and raised and still live here.
I too saw flight 175 hit the building live. We saw it on the news and it was so surreal. I’ll never forget that morning. I got up went to look outside. It was a beautiful spring day. The sky was as blue as can be not a single cloud in the sky very mild day. I can remember the birds singing I can remember the smell of the grass. Such a tragedy that day will be etched in my mind forever. God bless those people that lost their lives that day.
    I was 24 years old.
    Great informative video wow.

I was 20 years old, had just had a birthday. I didn’t see anything live because I was a lazy college student and didn’t have any Tuesday/Thursday classes so I got up late and even when I did get up I didn’t turn the tv on right away. Central time zone is also an hour behind. The first thing I saw was an image of the cloud covering the water. I had absolutely no idea what I was looking at. I called my mom, crying. I thought we were at war, like Japan bombing Hawaii at war. I’ll never forget that day. Thanks for sharing your story.

I remember that day so well too. I’m in California and we had matching skies just as blue as can be, not a cloud in sight and I’m near the beach. I was 22 then. 9/11 still haunts me. My cousin was supposed to be at his office in the North tower that day but one of his partners couldn’t make a business trip to Japan that day. He pulled out of it just a day before and my cousin took his place and went to Japan… Everyone in their office died that day. It took a good 2-3 years after 9/11 for me to get on a plane again. I know I will never forget.

You have absolutely found your calling. Your work is amazing and if TH-cam is giving it a hard time then we need another platform that is made up of people who understand what really matters. Don’t ever stop doing what you’re doing. You’ve done videos on some very important people and historical events, some of which have been neglected in the mainstream. This video is so important. We know so much about the passengers and crew of United flight 93 and that’s wonderful but the other planes were full of amazing people as well. The only difference with flight 93 is that those people knew what was going on because they were so late taking off and they knew that it was a suicide mission. We’ll never really know about the heroism that took place on the other flights but it’s so very important that their stories are told. Thank you for taking so much time and care to do them Justice.

I have always said, to some peoples dislike, that the people on the planes had it the worst. Being on a plane that’s violently turning and dropping is nightmare fuel, but the passengers seeing NYC and the first tower on fire……..I wouldn’t wish that on my enemy.
