I'd love to see you reviewing the new Red Dragon Razor Edge Extreme. I'm playing them myself, quite aggressive grip, absolutely lovely looking and super balanced! Would love to see someone else reviewing it :)
I bought a set a couple of weeks ago, been after a short straight set after losing my very first set of darts when moving house (were my nans 40mm bullets)……now I’ve bored you with my life story…..love these, being a two finger rear gripper, suit me to a tea…..great review as usual
What a great shirt! Loxley naming of darts is excellent and the packaging getting better. Those are the straightest barrels out there, a good reimagining of darts from the 80s
Keith plays Superleague for Moreton Hall IC along side me, Ashley Coleman & Jack Langston The Darts Referee, these will work for some people that like a short barrel & he’s practicing for the next Senior’s event at Lakeside which is in May.
These darts look good. Not a straight barrel fan, but these look good coz they're short and thick, a little bit like bomb barrels. Love your reviews, would like to see reviews of cheap tungsten darts and whether the quality is much different from the more popular ones 👍🏼
They are great little darts, was throwing them while the video was uploading, no 180's yet but hit so many T20's and a couple of 140's, they just feel nice to throw. That wide bull nose does cause some problems though lol As for cheaper darts I plan to do more reviews of cheaper ones once I get through my back log of darts :)
Great review Darren and nice darts, but barrel to short for my liking. Tried few sets of shorter barrels but just can't get on with them! A nice dart for a collection though.
@@Scolecite Yeah I think you are right they, I used to have a more pronounced loop to my throw which is why I think the Lowes used to work well for me, think these do the same thing when I get my throw right lol :)
I like the continuous grip right to the back, but maybe a tad deeper groove. I'd just go with a bit longer stems and some nice green flights to complete the setup. Awesome review Darren 👍
Matched with a medium stem I think these would be a great dart, might have to give them a try. I like a shorter dart, the concentration of the mass just feels right. But the nose! It's like they missed a step in the machining process. That aside, those are some winner darts.
Hello, I decided to buy a new set. your set is different. I will be going to England soon through a friend of mine. I'm undecided right now. The set I am thinking of is Dimitri Van Den Bergh G2 21G and the second is Loxley Keith Deller 20G 40th Anniversary Edition. Loxley curved design seems to suit me better. The site also states in its description that it is ideal for beginner players. What do you recommend?
Hi mate, straight barrel darts are often best for beginners until you know what you like but if you think the curve will suit you better then go for the Dellers :)
@@DartsReviewChannel So what weight should you choose? Would starting with 20 grams be an advantage or disadvantage? I already have sets, but I do not have any knowledge or experience about whether light or heavy should be preferred. What is the general judgment on this issue?
@@noweanji There is no easy answer, if soft tip players start with light darts then it means we can get used to any dart really. Usually for steel tip people recommend starting somewhere around 23 to 25 gram.
Bough these the back not tapered to fit flush with the stem is wrecking my head as keep catching it as rear throw. But harrows and Loxley are to favourite makes old school
Yes micro grip wears quick as I said in video but I have always liked the feel of it when new, just a pity it wears. As for the dart it's normal in as much as it's a straight barrel but not so normal in its short and chunky dimensions. 🙂
@@DartsReviewChannel bandit want to play off 22 but plays to 18 handicap and hits it cack handed and a country mile as well and I'm surprised that the paint is Red as he is a staunch Ipswich fan so thought they would be blue
This isn’t even like the barrel he used in the 1983 game…I believe Loxley does make a close replica of the actual type of barrel deller used against Bristow

I have them half reviewed, not sure but may be a couple of weeks before I get the review finished :)

Cool! Nice to see a lot more short dart lovers making themselves heard lol! :)

Yeah the shirt is good! Packaging is very good too and especially the nice touch with the little history on the back 😀
Nice review Darren. Forgot about the history of the 138 but I do like the darts but I don't think the bull nose style fits my grip that I use now.
Thanks, I know it's not a style to suit most but a nice one if you like a short dart 🙂
Thanks for reviewing these, I’ve been eyeing them, but haven’t been able to find the dimensions. Loxley sure has come out with some great darts.
No problem, hope it helped :)

Nice one Charlie, you know all the top players! 😀👍
I sure do

Amazing review! I use these ones myself, the 19 grams! I love them!
Thanks 👍😊💚
Is he still going on about that bloody 138 checkout, lol. Nice darts, there's not enough short, straight barrels on the market.
Of course he is lol😜👍
Great review Darren and nice darts, but barrel to short for my liking. Tried few sets of shorter barrels but just can't get on with them! A nice dart for a collection though.
Short darts need a parabolic path through the air. Maybe you like to rifle your darts in a bit more?
Thanks, short darts are not for everyone for sure :)

Yeah always better with some green lol, thanks mate 👍💚😊
A nice looking little dart I might be tempted to splash out great review as always Darren
Thanks Jeff, it's a fun little dart to throw 😊
Thanks Darren great review absolutely loving the shirt 😍 Going for shanghai straight away 🤔 🎯 happy darting 🎯
Cheers Vic, can't beat a good green shirt lol😊👍💚
Great, as always. Wasn't it Dennis Smith (Red Dragon) with the short barrel (also short points)?
Thanks! May have been him, cant remember now :)
Great darts love my 19g version which are even shorter!
Really, how much shorter are they? I like the feel of these though :)
35.8mm vs 42mm
@@ianrhodes9453 Wow yeah that is a fair bit shorter!

Certainly worth a try if you like short darts, I know the nose could be a problem though :)
Nearly a 180. It's a real chunky dart. They went pretty straight for you.
Yeah had a couple more 140's but not played with them a great deal yet, think I will play more though as they are fun to throw :)
Cracking review as always.
Thanks mate 😊👍💚
Interesting dart, have them on order 😃 Is that an exclusive shirt or is it available as well ?
not sure if they are bringing them out but not heard anything as yet :)

Not my type but gotta love a classic barrel
Yeah they wont suit most as short barrels are not for everyone but if you have never tried such a dart they are certainly worth a go :)
Bough these the back not tapered to fit flush with the stem is wrecking my head as keep catching it as rear throw. But harrows and Loxley are to favourite makes old school
The 19, and 21 grams = middle grip is also front and rear grip, they're so short 😁
I know 😊
Loxley do some amazing darts
Not quite a match playing dart but possibly a collector set. The short barrel and flat nose is not good for me.
It's a fun dart to try but won't be to most people's liking for regular use.😊
Should come with free chalk to cake them in too
LOL yep 😆
Nice vid:)
Thanks! :)
Nice but too short dart . Not a fan of micro grip .
Look like any normal straight barrel dart, not a fan of micro grip wears to quick

I don't usually really take against darts, but the blunt nose and fat , straight short barrels....bleurgh.
Not for everyone I know 🙂
I’d like to try them, but knowing that I won’t stick with them I won’t bother. Look like AAA batteries to me.
Apt description though 😃
look a bit ordinary but I play with something like that.
Can you please do a give away from adrian Lewis darts. I love your video's greetings from the netherlands
Thanks, I dont have any Lewis darts but even if I did a giveaway with them there is no guarantee you would win them anyway :)
Should have chalked them up like Deller lol
I was going to do a daft joke like that but couldn't find me chalk :)

Lol not sure about the red then, the box did remind me of the old Embassy cigs so wonder if it's a reference to them sponsoring the 1983 championship?
