I bought these on day one. I don't normally buy brand new darts when they first come out but there was something about these that made me say I need to have them.
I have the 19's aswell theyre exactly the same as his old target match darts which i also have. Keith uses really short points and the 19g model is his match set up with the short points. Never had any issues myself with bounce outs on my blade 5.
I definitely don’t miss those old round wire dart boards, that was back when it was a common bar rule for “if you catch your bounce-out, you can re-throw it”. It’s really starting to look like you can salvage almost any dart barrel with a long enough point. Within reason, of course. Thanks for the video!
21g John Lowes are just barely shorter at 35.3mm. I think the points are shorter because Keith uses shorter than standard points - not sure why they would do that for a retail version though.
Amazing shot 180 and twice almost 180. If you would shot three times would it be a tribble boom or would it be a master boom? ☺️ I guess Loxley and One80 were the best their weight was never more then 0,04 from the lightest to the havyest, I guess. I just know desina darts which are this close. Secoundly if you know their price, it's even more incradible.
It's exactly what I ran into when got them back in January from dartscorner. Glad to see it wasn't just me and that you had to repoint them just to use them. I did saw it might be tough for you to get three in a bed 😉
I have these in 19g and I’ve never had a problem with bounce outs (thrown these for hours) - have the standard factory short points fitted. I use a Blade 6 board and the Mission board at my local is also fine
I haven’t repointed these - I have the points that came with the darts and I just measured them to check and they have 22mm exposed. Maybe I don’t throw them as hard as you, so I don’t get the issue? Love these darts though, but I do seem to get a lot of weird deflections like you said in the video.
Just bought the 19g edition and in fact they have these small points as well. But I love these darts and they’re now my match darts. I enjoy and toss better with short darts and love these. But I am buying new points
Great review. Thats crazy bout points. Def dont belong on a dart like that. Short points like that on dart like that you get more bounce outs then you want. Great looking set of darts. Love your reviews. See ya on the next one
The best opening I have seen you do! I figured you might do something like this if you ever reviewed the Deller darts. It does seem super strange that the points were so short. I have read before that he always did prefer short barrels and short points. I’m not sure what I think about the flat nose cone but I love the grip pattern on the barrel. These darts might be a perfect candidate to become a Frankenstein.
I need these asap. My dart board I bought came with brass cheap darts with this exact look but are super light. I love these but is anything out similar with the barrel shape and length out there? Thanks love the videos!!!
You made it in extremely cool point what could those guys do now if we had a time machine and drop them off a blade 6?? There's got to be some Harvard math-whizz they can figure out what the same outcome would be with a different board back in the day
@@evilbeetlekustomscreations4965 Imagine hanging up a brand new board from 1985 and letting the guys have a go at it. I honestly don't think we'd see too many 100 averages... especially in set format

just watched this video, deller like priestley and mardle etc used very short points.they press tip of point into finger.your reviews often talk about lip at front of barrell.this is only issue if darts go in very flat causing dart on flight damage.if darts enter like whitlock lewis price and most top players its not issue
@@WorldwideDarts must admit i thought it said 20mm sticking out on loxley website?.iam old enough to rememember era 80s,and the fact bristow lowe dellers darts went right in the board making 180 difficult makes averages back then even more amazing
I'm glad dartboard tech has moved on. I like the look of these darts, very strange that the points were so short, but if you're buying to collect it might not be a problem. Great video 👍🏼🎯

When i see awerage with this darts just woow... After german giant darts this is best awerage on you chanel..
@@drazenmustafic4497 Thanks. But I wish I took one more turn. It should have been at least 5 turns. Lost count plus I wanted to end on the 180.
1985 was a great year Darts even had mullets🤘🤘😂

My Bull's board is WAY too soft. I was getting missiles shot back at me with some darts. Vicious bounce outs.

I remember watching Deller win it back then on telly. Great review and loved the intro WW.
Thanks Brendan 👍
Keith used to have his points cut down to 18mm. I knew him in the early 80's

Ive not even finished the video but the intro is absolutley awesome! 👏🎯 You should include something like this in all your review videos.
Thanks Scotty! 😁
Great review, interesting set of darts.
Thanks Mac 👍

Stephen Bunting with his 12 g and 37.9 mm long barrels is the one who comes closest. Nice review as always.
Good review, Maybe their are used or something. but new points and fat barrels not my bag. but you still hit the one 180! you are the WW guy!
Seen these for months now, I knew the dimensions but never knew they had that micro ring grip. Might consider them now if they are ever on sale.
Honestly not a bad dart to throw. I sold mine cheap. $30 I think

The standard points or the 22.8mm ones?

Maybe I don’t throw them as hard as you, so I don’t get the issue?
Love these darts though, but I do seem to get a lot of weird deflections like you said in the video.
Also keep in mind that my Bull's board is extremely soft. Like throwing at a pillow. But yeah, I had all sorts of issues.
It’s a cute set of darts but I think they are more of a conversion piece. Great review as usual. 🎯
Long time coming 😉
Just bought the 19g edition and in fact they have these small points as well. But I love these darts and they’re now my match darts. I enjoy and toss better with short darts and love these. But I am buying new points
Yeah, Keith likes short points so that's why they come that way. I'd switch them out asap
Will do

intro makes me watch full review even that these darts are miles away from what i am using :D

Thanks. Definitely a good candidate for long points 👍🏻
when I saw them the firts time I felt the dimensions looked OFF, short and chonky like that??? but hey, very surprised how good they throw

Such an out-there dart. the length, the nose...definitely not for me but it's always fun to see something different!
I heard these points were especially made for Deller on his match weight set.
That makes sense because if you look at the pic I posted of his old darts they have the shortest points I've ever seen

Similar to soutar mission darts

Same with me, the point ends up pressed against the inside of my ring finger. My match darts have 26mm specialty points.

Do these bash the flights
Yeah, they do. #flightkiller
Well done on throwing these so well but they will never make my want list !
Hands down the best intro to a darts video I’ve seen! Big props for the effort…how many attempts to get the shot?
Thank you!! I just checked. I was recording for 4 minutes 52 seconds... i.imgur.com/hrCGctH.png
A video with a dart:Dsboard like in 85 with a best of 5 would be nice :D
Awesome intro 😜 i think those darts are way to small for me
Definitely Kites not pears lol
That's the takeaway from this video?
@@WorldwideDarts wasn't much else to complain about. Lol.
Looks like a set of kite flights, not pear.
I already got corrected. I should have gone with my first instinct
