Absolutely. I'm very interested in what builds are being used and why. Watching the comp play has been fun. So different from quick play. Actual coordinated play is everything quick play should be
Like the idea for the series, but would like more explanation of how it’s different than quick play builds, how you might play differently because of that, strengths and weaknesses, etc. (if there is no difference between how you build/play it for comp vs how you build/play for quick play, then it’s not really a “comp” build, it’s just another build that some people happen to use in comp).
LMAO...I am a founder, I still remember when running into mechs bigger than you meant you FELL OVER!! Took leg damage then had to wait about 3 seconds to get back up!!! I love this build, its mobile, decently tanky and can put out some really good suppressing fire.
Yes, more comp builds please! But could you explain what makes them comp rather than normal builds?

I could be wrong, (and probably am) but I believe standard pug builds are generally focused on a single thing, like sniping, brawling, lrming etc. Comp builds need to be a little more versatile, particularly in having close range firepower even in sniper builds, because it generally winds up closer than standard matches. Also comp builds generally armour up the legs because that's the focus when the 2 sides meet because its usually the fastest way to kill a mech or at least render them less effective given side torsos usually have more armour and structure. This is based on a small sample of TTB's comp videos though.

Yes, the Uziel or Shadowhawk might work for you. Both can have high energy hardpoints and jump jets.
