Ngl it was easy as hell for me, I literally jumped THROUGH the glass without breaking it in the visitation area. Nothing to do outside of the prison as I expected because it's an Mdickie game (no hate, just reality). Tried multiple times to replicate the phase through in visitation and it never worked so maybe I got really lucky.

Complete your sentence and go to a cop, they will ask you if you want to be a cop. Press yes, or buy the full version.
