    I'm interested in buying 4 of these lights, one for each side of my house. If I tell Alexa to turn on the lights, and then tell Alexa to turn off the lights, can I also tell Alexa to put the lights on motion setting? Or can the motion setting only be restored in the app?

      I think it may only be able to be restored in the app. But I could be wrong. Email the manufacture to confirm. I don’t have my connected to Alexa. I only use the motion feature so when I walk by one light they both then on together. They are linked in the app.

    If it loses power, does it reconnect automatically when power is restored? Or do you have to go through set up again?

      Yes and no. If it’s a normal power interruption, say your power went out and it comes back on it K’NEX fine. But if you have a wall switch in the wall switch, it gets flipped up and down several times by kid. For example, it can lose its programming and need to be restored. So keep that in mind!!!!

    Update: I have a wall switch for each light. I leave it on at all times. But the kids turned it off the other day and it confused the light. It might have been on/off a few times. Now it will not enter "pairing (blinking) mode". I talked to the manufacturer on Amazon (MonkeySmart) and they think it is defective. They are sending me a replacement. Just wanted to give people a heads-up.

      This happened again to me just last week. It’s annoying. You may want to look for other brands of the same light because there’s obviously some issues with not entering pairing mode with this exact model.

    Does anyone know how to reset a light ? One of mine paired with the app once I did the 3 switch on and switch offs but the other light sits on an extremely dim mode that I can only see at night and I can’t get it to reset

      Instead of resetting, try deleting the light from the app and then re-pairing it.

      @@fixitwithjake thanks for replying ! But I’ve never been able to pair it with the phone. The other light I have in the pair worked fine. The light is so dim that I can’t do the reset and because it was never able to pair to the phone then idk what to do

      Contact the seller on the Amazon store and they will guide you how best to get this working. I talked to them just a few days ago and they’re sending me a replacement light because I can’t get one of mine back into pairing mode. My kid turned it off and on a few times playing and I cannot get it reset. So there’s no better person to speak to the seller. And if there’s something wrong with it, they’ll send you a replacement most likely. They are sending me a replacement. Perhaps there’s a bad batch of some of these that are not resetting properly. I will be sure to keep commenting if I have any more issues.

They sent me a replacement but I was avoided that because it was soooo hard to get the light flush with the outside siding and I knew replacing it was going to be a lot of work again. But it’s all good now ! The new light works perfectly and it’s all on a schedule and no one is allowed to touch my switches lol

    I have the same one and it will not stay on motion mode 🤦‍♂️ I have to go into the damn app and change it every other day.. Extremely frustrating

      Once Alexa or google voice commands are used it will switch to manual mode. It doesn’t know how to do both voice commands and automatic go back to the motion setting. You probably already knew that but incase you didn’t. I didn’t realize that at first.

      @@fixitwithjake yes thx for replying but I was aware of that, my problem is I don't use them and it still will switch, my dog goes out and the lights don't turn on and when I open the app it's back to manual mode.. It's very annoying, because the light is good other than that

      That’s really weird. Mine don’t do that. I have two. I’d do a factory reset and if that doesn’t fix it, then email company and see if they will be able to help or swap it out.
